1053 - The Year in Review

Year 1053 calendar

1st Day of the year

As the early rays of sun broke through the clouds on the first day of TK 1053, several Mercenary companies and Free Companies invaded the capital city of Tymdale of the island nation of Targa located in the Northern Hemisphere. Tymdale is a port city on the southern side of the island. The country of Targa does not have any political or military alliances; they are truly a neutral country. The banners of the invading troops are familiar to those that remember the invasion of Moshven a few years ago. Several couriers from Targa were able to escape the island via their Gate Portal before it was shut down.

Hearing of this invasion from one of the couriers that escaped, the eyes of the Military Governess of Moshven narrowed and her expression grew cold. With a voice of steel, she ordered her fleet to aid the Island nation. By the time the sun set, most of the Moshven Southern Defense Fleet was en-route to Targa.

Another courier escaped to the Horde Union. In response, the Horde Union dispatched several squadrons of warships that were anchored 10 days away from the island nation of Targa.

The Alliance of Nations sends the government of Targa a message that states that the Alliance of Nations is organizing a meeting of its members to decide how to react. Since Targa does not have an agreement with the Alliance of Nations (AON), the AON is powerless to act as a unified body. The meeting will probably take place in 20 to 30 days.

Historical note: During the last 15 years of the Fourth War with the Horde, a great number of Free Companies of Knights and Mercenary companies were created in the Human, Elven, Dwarven, Haeflin, and Centaur cultures to fight the Horde. Over 250 different companies were created. After the end of hostilities with the Horde in TK1044, the companies needed to find employment.

At the Gates of Draconic Splendor in the country of Kenda on the continent of Kenda, a basket was found containing a single intact Dragon's egg. The Lady and Lord of Draconic Splendor took in the egg and placed it in the Dragon Roost. The only oddity noticed concerning the egg is that it is larger than any Dragon egg that the Lady of Draconic Splendor has ever seen before.

The city-state of Dawn experiences another Sand Blow south of the city in the early hours of the day. The only casualties were the sensibilities of 400 sheep and their two herders that were within visual range of the Sand Blow.

2nd Day of the year

The high King of Azin Rene' Nari' Orders the Azin Grand Southern Fleet to investigate the waters south of the country. Approximately five days south of Moshven near the island country of Targa. The fleet set sail at dusk on the 2nd day of TK 1053.

The city of Freeport in the country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports they have discovered a second throne room in the Temple of the Blood King. This chamber is over 250 feet from the surface. This elaborate room is lavishly decorated with fine silks, golden threaded tapestries, gem encrusted items, gems embedded into the walls, and furniture carved from alabaster, jade, and amber.

Duke William Aday sent his New Year report to the High King of Azin Rene' Nari'. The report stated that the Dark Forces have begun a new offensive. The offensive began on the first day of TK 1053. This latest offensive is a bit unusual in the fact that it began at sunrise and not sunset. The sky was overcast, however it is the first time the Dark Forces have begun an assault at sunrise. The assault by the Dark Forces has been repelled and the battle lines have not needed to be redrawn.

3rd Day of the Year

The Duchess of Kent, preparing to leave for Gregoria where she will be judging several events, ordered one of her merchant fleets loaded with food and supplies and then sent to the free people of Targa. She adds two of her battle fleets to escort the merchant fleet's ships.

The country of Azatar on the continent of Terla offers the good people of Targa support in their times of need. The only thing the good people of Azatar ask is that an Azatar peace mission be allowed to be set up in their country.

The country of Creal on the continent of Kenda reports that after an intense but short winter storm wreckage was discovered near the town of Pineland. The wreckage is of a Wraith class ship. The only problem is that the town of Pineland is an inland town. The ship maker's marks places the time the ship was built was TK 1042. There is no name on the ship. The ship was constructed in the Horde Union. The government of Creal has sent a herald to the Horde Union with all the information that they have discovered on and in the ship.

4th Day of the year

The country of Bryagel reports that a score of Reapers attempted to attack the Ship Fields of Greater Bryagel and were stopped. The Reapers damaged three ships and burned a finishing shed before being driven off. However, the damage could have been much worse.

The Elven council of Greater Fyngel reports that a hunting band of Forest Trolls emerged from Fyngel and entered the realm of Greater Fyngel. The band numbered 30 and had a female with them. The True Elves of Greater Fyngel report that they dealt with the Forest Trolls without the loss of any True Elves. It should be noted that some of the guardian Great and Wood Elves were injured; however, the Great Elves of Greater Fyngel did not mention that in their report.

The Council of Rule for the country of Gregoria on the continent of Mednadda is preparing for the annual Mages' Games. They report that they are discussing extending the Games duration due to the number of contestants this year. They will let everyone know on the day of the games beginning if they are extending the games.

The country of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia has agreed to enter into further negotiations with the Haeflin Alliance concerning the Haeflin Temple found in the country.

5th day of the year

The country of Dwarven country Xendana on the continent of Xendarna reports that they have had a minor land quake that has opened up a vain of cold stone near an ancient volcano near Lake Xendans.

The city-state of Kreeden on the continent of Bryagel announced that their scholars have translated another 150 tablets from the Temple of the Blood King. The subject matter of the tables range from scientific documents to fiction to works of cultural observations. Copies of the translations will available for purchase by the end of the month.

The Horde Union reports that the River Ob-T'ag (River of Heaven) is frozen for over 100 miles. The river has not been completely frozen like this in over 400 years. The use of Iceboats and Ice Sails is common on this river.

6th day of the year

The Haeflin country of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel report that an ATA convoy to the city of Scrolls carried Red Fever into the city. The city is quarantined at this time. The convoy was from the ATA headquarters. The government of Frenton has closed its Gate Portals to all convoys from the ATA headquarters.

Duchess Irene Desummers of the Ariddia has sent a Herald to Lady Rose of the healing Sanctuaries to begin negotiations for a Healing sanctuary on her lands in the Ocean of Sand (Ariddia).

The country of Terralen on the continent of Terla reports that the wreckage of a Rogue Class ship washed ashore on the morning tides. The ship is being investigated. The Duchess of Terralen will provide several nations with information concerning this ship.

7th day of the year

As dawn broke on the 7th day of TK 1053, the Moshven fleet approached the island nation of Targa. What greeted the Moshven fleet was not too unexpected. Blockading the island nation of Targa was 450 Rogue Class ships. The captain of the Moshven fleet sent a message ship back to Moshven with the information of the current situation and the following comment. "We know our duty. The enemy number is great, our number is few. Our hearts are greater - for we are free, we are of Moshven!" Signed, your faithful servant, Captain Tiberius Malloy ath Moshven.

The Fourth Annual Mages' Games begin in Gregoria. This year there are over 1,000 contestants from almost every country in the world. The organizers would like to thank the Lady and Lord of Draconic Splendor in Kenda for once again providing the Kendan Hospitality and information suite. This year they have completely taken over the local Inn of the Azure Horn for the hospitality suite. The Games will begin at sunset this day and might last longer than the 20th of TK 1053 due to the number of contestants.

The Southern Shield reports that several meteors have visited the land of the midnight sun in the last three days. Only one has landed on the ice while the rest have landed in the arctic waters of the far north. Many scholars around the realms are puzzled as these meteors are not part of any known shower.

The city of Arch Angel in the country of Azin reports that their patrol found the organic remains of a Reaper being devoured by a Polar Bear. The bear was slightly injured. The patrol left the bear alone.

8th day of the year

The Azin Grand Southern Fleet on training maneuvers encountered a squadron of Rogue Class ships. The Rogue Class ships were not crewed and drifting in the current. The 20 Rogue Class ships were put undertow and were transported back to Azin.

The Heralds of the Union of the Horde report that a Water User of Magick was working their craft on the shore of the River of Flame. The User of Magick decided to see how much of the river he could cool down with magical ice and magical water. As he began casting the second spell on the river of flame, a pair of dragon wings emerged from the River of Flame followed by the rest of the Fire Drake. The Fire Drake Picked up the User of Magick and in perfect Horde voiced his objections to the User of Magick disturbing his mid century fire bath. The Drake put the User of Magick down safely on the shore of the River of Flame. The Drake went back into the River of Flame. Once the User of Magick could move, he headed towards the nearest town to report what he had just witnessed. The town guards told him "You know you are not supposed to upset the ecology and the wild life of the area." The User of Magick returned to his hometown 1,000 miles away.

The Dwarven government of Gemsten on the continent of Fyngel reported that their miners have discovered a rich vein of Ruby baring rock outside their capital city of Carven-Loth.

10th day of the year

The city of Trios in the country of Kenda reports that a score of Reapers began digging in their wheat fields. The fields are dormant for the winter. The mages guild used the Pratt Fall maneuver to dispatch all 20 of the Reapers. The Guild Master commented, "That actually worked." Over and over again, as they began to clean up the remains of the Reapers.

The City State of Koalh reports that their frozen harbor had a visitor punch a hole in the ice. The Ice Rig Whale also known as the Wright whale punched its way to the surface through three feet of ice. The whale remained in the harbor for about an hour and then left. The fishermen of Koalh then proceeded to use the hole that the whale made to ply their trade.

The Holy Father of the religion of the One True God sent heralds to the government of Aphane and all of the members of the Haeflin alliance. The heralds carried with them what the Holy Father has called the Aphane compromise.

11th day of the year

The city of Freehold in the Wasteland of Azin reports that over six dozen Hydra eggs were discovered outside of the city bathed in a Mana pool. This is a common technique to alter the magical properties of an object. Who or what did this is unknown.

12th day of the year

The Horde Union city of Zatheros in the Region of Rule (Korant) on the continent of Cimmeran reports that the delegation from the Alquennas Trade Association has been expelled from the city. The city of Zatheros is the Horde Union economic and trade center in which all trade contracts are negotiated and stored.

14th day of the year

A report from the country of Greater Fyngel states that a band of four Minotaurs has ravaged the countryside and several Elven villages. These soulless beasts, the reports continued, began rounding up woman and heading them to the coast. A company of Elven soldiers led by two Elven knights stopped the Minotaur menace.

16th day of the year

The Haeflin country of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel announced that they have accepted the Aphane compromise with regards to the Haeflin Temple in Aphane. Within hours of Frenton accepting the compromise, the remaining Haeflin governments agreed to the compromise. The country of Frenton will be sending 1,000 Haeflins to begin the process of making the Haeflin temple an open temple for all to enjoy and visit.

18th day of the year

The government of country of Verdar on the continent of Kenda announced that a land quake damaged 15 villages around the city of Clarkston. Casualties were reported as numbering fewer than 30 injured and 2 deaths.

20th day of the year

Roger Davis Desummers of the Ariddia won the Mystical Hypothesis category, also known as the origins of Magick category. The argument of the origins of magical energy had all of the judges enthralled. Both Duchess Ellime' and Archmagus Rygel appeared to be taking notes on their copies of his thesis.

The Artificer and Alchemist of Kallon, hearing the news of the land quake in Verdar, began working on a device to determine the direction, location, and power of a land quake.

30th day of the year

The Port of Silk in the country of Moshven announced that the next modified Mammoth Class ship has been completed. The modified design contains two Drum cranes built into the ship that would allow the ship to off load or load cargo much easier and faster in harbors that do not have cranes.

40th day of the year

The Dwarven Mage Flamme' Kaster ath the White Mountains sent a message to the Alchemist of Kallon concerning his device to detect land quakes. Even though mages and Alchemists do not always see eye or even like each other, the message was well received by the Alchemist of Kallon.

The Alchemist of Kallon sent Dwarven Mage Flamme' Kaster ath the White Mountains an invitation to journey to Kallon and be his guest. It should be noted that Sir James and Sir Adam, the assistants of the Alchemist of Kallon, have sent their families to visit relatives in another city. The coach master that took Sir Adam's family away commented, "As Saint Susan once stated, 'No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There is always a boom tomorrow.'" He clapped the reins and added as the coach left, "leastways round here."

50th day of the year

The Military Governor of Lords in the country of Valinnia on the continent of Mednadda announced that villagers to the south of Lords have reported a roaming band of Trolls that number 25. The Military Governor of Lords dispatched three columns of knights to hunt down the Trolls.

60th day of the year

The Elder Council of Ogres for the country of Iceda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that one of their patrols encountered a single very large Reaper that was moving too quickly in order to use the Pratt Fall maneuver. The patrol lost 16 members but did manage to kill the Reaper. Once defeated, the Reaper simply melted. The remains of the Reaper have been transported to the Duchess of Kent of the country of Azin.

70th day of the year

A report from Sir William Aday, Human military Governor of Patronna, to the Azinian High King Rene' Nari' states that the combined Human and Horde forces on Patronna have established another beachhead on the northern shores of what used to be the Elven Brevden Settlement. The combined Horde and Human forces hold 15 miles of the shoreline of the Brevden settlement that extends four miles in land. This secured area has been called by the troops, the settlement of Blood Hope.

80th day of the year

The Horde Union official Heralds Guild announced that the Horde Union is building a new merchant class ship that would accommodate both large quantities of liquid and non-liquid cargo. The Whale class ship is said to be over 250 feet long and have a beam over 60 feet.

83rd day of the year

The lighthouse keeper in Ivory bay in the country of Kenda on the continent of Kenda reports that several pods of sea wolves (Orcas) have entered the bay and are sunning themselves in the relative shallow waters of the bay.

85th day of the year

Reports from the grasslands of Bryagel stated several herders of sheep, goats, cattle, and bison all witnessed a Manticore roam the winter grasslands this morning. It disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

87th day of the year

The Haeflin City State of Dawn on the continent of Mednadda experienced another Sand Blow this morning three hours before dawn. The entire city was immediately woken up. There are no reports of injuries.

88th day of the year

The first Dragon Ale of the year has been completed in the Forked Mountains of Azin. The brew has received very high praise from all that have tasted it.

90th day of the year

A discovery in the Temple of the Blood King is announced throughout the realms. A set of tablets have been found in the Temple of the Blood King in the language of Ancient Kingdom. The tables comprise a book entitled "The Tables of Tides." It is not a book concerning the lunar tides of the oceans. The scholar that discovered the book read from it and then decided he had enough and quit working the dig completely.

111th day of the year

In the Northern Hemisphere, the first plantings of the year have begun. In the Southern Hemisphere, many harvest festivals have begun.

The country of Ganit on the Southern Shield reports that the first of the winter Ice Shields have begun to form around the nation of Ganit.

The Haeflin Country of Currerria on the continent of Vitainnia reports that their King Jorggan Longwords is a father once more. His wife gave birth to a healthy baby girl as the sun rose this morning. It is reported that mother, child, and father are all doing well.

120th day of the year

The country of Abyssinia on the continent of Terla announced that they have executed a quarantine zone around the Open City. Food caravans are the only transportation being allowed into the city. The city is encircled by more than 10,000 troops of the Abyssinia Guard. All caravans going to the city are being searched and any contraband goods will and have been confiscated. Any non-food items are considered contraband. The Duchess of Abyssinia has offered the ruling families of the Open City a chance to negotiate a peaceful solution to this crisis. The Duchess informed all of the realms of Alquennas of this action. She added that, if the ruling families do not agree to meet to discuss a peaceful solution, she would provide the evidence she has to all of the realms that the rulers of the Open City have plotted to and, in fact, have broken the three Great Laws of Alquennas. Then she will fire the entire city.

The City of Lights reports that there is an heir and two additional siblings born this day to House Tully. It is reported that the father survived the delivery and 32 hours of labor that his wife endured. Delivered today were three healthy children, two girls and a boy. The oldest is the first daughter of Rory and Ashlyn Tully. The names of the children are:

The Abbey of Light in the White Mountains sent an envoy to the City of Lights to present gifts to the three newest members of the Tully family.

The government of Azatar supports the Duchess of Abyssinia in her actions. The Grand Sultan stated in a speech at his capital that no one has the right to Break the Three Great Laws of Alquennas and those that do must be brought to justice of Man or of the Monarch.

The religion of the One True God celebrates Easter. The Holy Father held mass in the Holy City.
The government of Stone's Rising on the continent of Mednadda reports that another 11 Dragon Eggs have hatched.

The Shipwrights Guild of Azin, the Merchant's Guild of Azin, and the Barrelwright Guild of Azin begin a 10-day conference to attempt to standardize water going shipping containers.

A report from the City State of Kreeden on the continent of Bryagel states that criminals attacked and broke into the Kreeden Repository of Knowledge and History. Several scrolls, books, and artifacts were stolen. What they did not take, they began destroying. The criminals killed four guards at the repository. It will take days to sort out exactly what was taken and what was destroyed.

The Dwarven government of Gemsten on the continent of Fyngel reports that a score of Reapers walked out of the ocean on their northern shore. The Gemsten Guard engaged the Reapers and destroyed them. The Dwarves lost 40 of their warriors in the battle. The remains of the Reapers are being transported to the Duchess of Kent for further investigation.

130th day of the year

The Elven Realm of Long Wood on the continent of Kenda reports that a lightning strike began a brush fire that was easily contained. Once the smoke cleared in the affected area, a lost structure was discovered. It appears to be Dwarven construction. The Elves are investigating this structure.

The government of Katonnan on the continent of Mednadda reports that their internal road-building project that started in TK 1050 is over 50% complete. This milestone is a year ahead of schedule.

131st day of the year

The Shipyard at the Port of Silk announced that they are modifying a mammoth class cargo ship to increase its cargo capacity as well as its handling in the great oceans. The Grand Hauler class, as it is being called, can transport almost twice as much cargo as the Mammoth Class and is quicker than the Mammoth Class. In addition to the two drum cranes that the standard modified Mammoth Class ships have added, the Grand Hauler class uses its masts to form T crane assembly for transferring goods and large bulk items from the ship to the pier or other ships.

The government of Creal reports that raiders have attacked several villages. The raiders have fired the villages and then left. The number of casualties is roughly 1,900 injured with no deaths. The raiders were using horses and wargs as mounts. It is unclear what race or races the raiders were as they were all masked.

Reports from the City State of Kreeden - the investigators and scholars have completed their survey and accounting of what was stolen and what was destroyed from the Kreeden Repository of Knowledge and History. The criminals destroyed several hundred historical, scientific, religious, and magical documents that are replaceable. What were stolen were blue prints of buildings from around the realms, magical documents on enchantment, and known brewing methods for ale and beer.

140th day of the year

The Azin Merchant Guild, Guild of Shipwrights, and the Barrelwright Guild have created a standard for shipping barrels. The sizes are:

The Horde government of Iceda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that the migration of the Blue Whales has started. Ogre scholars counted over 1400 blue whales this morning in several distinct pods.

A report from Sir William Aday of the Patronna campaign states that the Dark Forces are being pushed back even in the harsh winter of the southern hemisphere. It appears that the bad weather has been even worse for the Dark Forces.

150th day of the year

The Realm of Moshven is proud to announce that their first Grand Hauler Class ship has begun its sea trials. The ship is a modified Mammoth Class Cargo ship.

The government of Kisda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that five constructs walked onto their beech this morning. Upon further investigation, the stone constructs began to attack the Ogre patrol that was investigating. The patrol sent for help. The Ogres did defeat the constructs at a high cost. The Ogres lost 45 of their soldiers and 60 goblin soldiers to stop the five stone constructs. The Ogre magical council of Kisda attempted to discern where the constructs came from. When they began to cast their spells, the remains of the constructs simply burst into flames. All of the magical essences and physical materials of the constructs completely vanished. Not even ashes remained. The Ogre magical council attempted to use divination to explore what happened and who was the cause of this attack. This turned out to be a very bad idea. Three of their mages were sent to the healers as they collapsed from trying to divine this event in time.

The Duchess of Abyssinia reports that the Open City has surrendered to her forces and the forces of Azin. The ruling families have agreed to turn over the city without a fight. In the agreement, the ruling families were allowed to leave the city without any actions being taken against them. The Duchess of Abyssinia has installed Baron Thomas Lane the 3rd as the noble of the city. His task is to clean up the city and to provide opportunities for growth for the people of the Open City. It is rumored that the ruling families fled into the Ariddia.

160th day of the year

While walking with her children in the spring air, the Duchess Ashlyn Tully, born of Kent, began having a waking Dream. The children were being carried in a specially modified wagon pulled by their nursemaids. One of the nursemaids began to write down the waking dream.

The Duchess Ashlyn Tully, born of Kent, awoke from the waking dream shivering. She looked at the nursemaid who had written down the dream and commanded. "Give me that. Get the children's protectors and get me two of the Wolf Brigade. They will need to escort me to my mother."

The Haeflin government of Currerria on the continent of Vitainnia reports that the agreement concerning the Haeflin Temple in Aphane is being held up to their standards. Currerria has provided financial and military aid to the temple and the temple keepers.

The Dwarven island of Quantum located just southwest of the continent of Xendarna reports that the ice flows are thick enough to walk from Quantum to the continent of Xendarna.

Reports from the country of Kenda state that farmers preparing an undeveloped field for the second planting discovered the remains of 25 Reapers. These remains were sent to the Duchess of Kent for further investigation. The farmers of Kenda decided not to use the field for the second planting.

The Horde provincial government of the Region of Aden-Kreegan (Flame) reported that the city Qytet Zjarr (city of Fire) has been hit by an ice storm. It is the wrong time of year for any type of winter storm. The inhabitants of the eight million strong city is dealing with it. The city government is investigating foul play.

The Merchant Prince of the country of Unadrian on the continent of Mednadda reports that after discussions with the government of Katonnan, the embargo Unadrian had placed on Katonnan during the Fourth War with the Horde is now ended. Trade delegations are being sent to Katonnan to start the trade between the two countries.

A Horde Squadron of Specter Class ships were attacked while escorting the Horde Fishing fleet. The squadron of ships was destroyed. Their opponents were in Rogue Class Ships as well as Wraith and modified Wraith class ships. The Horde Squadron was out numbered 100 to 20. The fishing fleet was not harmed or molested in any manner.

The Horde provincial government of the Region of Aden-Kreegan (Flame) reported they have captured the User of Magick causing the Ice age over their city. The User of Magick stated that he was attempting to perfect his technique in Weather Magick and "goofed" as he put it. He did not know his actions would affect a city 10 miles away from his dwelling of study. The User of Magick is getting a watcher for the next six months to ensure he does not make the same type of mistake.

The island chain nation of Tilos reports that Reapers landed on the island of Tilos this morning. They began digging on the beach. This lasted for an hour and they left. No one was reported hurt. The Duchess of Kent sent a squadron of ships to investigate the international waters around Tilos.

The southern hemisphere is being hammer by the worst winter in over 500 years. Record snow falls ten times their annual averages have already fallen. The Southern Shield reports record ice flows. You can walk from the island nations of the Southern Shield, as the ice between them is over 40 feet thick. The ice pack has already extended more than 2,000 miles from the South Pole this winter.

The Island of Fire and Ice just south of the Northern Shield reports that the aqua-harvest is the best is has been in over 100 years.

Species of animals that they have not seen in 25 years are returning to the area on the summer migration. The former leader of the Council of Rule for the island of Fire and Ice stated, "Sure, they waited for me to leave last season to come back."

Sir William Aday of the Patronna Campaign in a letter to his wife commented. "I wish you were here to see it. A priest of the One True God and a Horde Shaman working together. They invoked the Monarch's name to cleanse an area to allow for the proper burial of those pawns of the Dark Forces. Afterwards, the two clergy had lunch together as the snow started to fall once more."

The government of Alike on the continent of the Southern Shield reports that their patrol discovered a narwhal that had to defend its pod against a Reaper. The Narwhal had used its horn to spear the Reaper. The Reaper was disabled. The Ogres removed what was the left of the Reaper to find that the Horn of the Narwhal pierced the crystal cylinders that held the acid in the Reaper. What is more amazing is that the acid did not damage the horn of the Narwhal. After providing this assistance, the Ogres let the Narwhal go. Normally Narwhal is a delicacy for the Ogres, however not one of them could bring themselves to killing one that had just protected its family so well.

The island nation of Alima on the Southern Shield reports that despite the harsh winter the migrating continues in a grand scale. Observers reported seeing Wright and Unicorn (Narwhal) pods in great numbers breeching the ice in the sheltered cover of their southern coast.

The Realm of the Azul Valley on the continent of Terla reports that several reports to their defense force state that Reapers are digging great holes in the land. This has allowed the Defense Forces to kill over 60 Reapers in the last 40 days. The report continues to state �We do not know what they are looking for, however if they are going to stand still, we will be more than happy to end their search at the point of a lance.� As a member of the Trista Confederation, the Realm of the Azul Valley has been sending the remains of the Reapers to the island of Trista for investigation.

The government of the Qytet Stuhi (City of Storm) in the Region of Storms reports that criminals attempted to break into the research and development yard of The Horde War Master University. The guards and the defenses of the complex dealt with the criminals. The criminals were Orcs without any markings, Haeflins, and Humans. In total, there were 20 of them. The government of Qytet Stuhi is unclear what the attackers were after.

The Island of Three Sisters announce that their grand fishing fleet has returned to the harbor of Nari'. The bounty is better than expected for this second trip of the season. The assistance of the Mere Folk has increased the yields of the fishing fleet by 40 fold this year alone.

The Port of Silk of the country of Moshven on the continent of Cellenda had an unusual ship enter port. The ship was made of stone and crewed by giants. They assured the Military Governess that they were not of the same clan of Giants that were on Patronna. They also had a guest that has been with them for three moons. A human that they found on a lone island near the equator of Alquennas. The human is called Dietrich Thames also known as the Sea Wolf. The human has been taken to the home of the Military Governess of Moshven and is currently under a healer's care. Further, a courier was sent via gate to the High King of Azin.

The government of Stone's Rising reports that a single Dragon's egg hatched. The Dragon is a Fire Drake with an unusual color for her eyes. Her eyes are a brilliant green in color.

The Cathedral of Saint Mary in the capital city of Azin reports they are beginning the next phase of building. The west side sculptures are beginning to take shape. In addition, the foundation for the new rectory is under construction.

The government of Greater Fyngel on the continent of Fyngel reports that a forest fire has consumed over 5,000 acres of old growth forest. The fire was not started as a managed fire. The wood was green and wet. The government of Greater Fyngel is investigating.

The Elven government of Creal on the continent of Kenda reports that a score of Reapers walked out of the surf and began heading towards the nearest village. The Creal military responded with knights, warriors, and mages. More than half of the Reapers were dealt with by the Pratt fall maneuver. The knights of Creal dealt with the others. The casualties number 50 dead and 1,000 wounded in the battle. The village was saved with none of the villagers hurt.

The Government of Stone's Rising announced the name of the Fire Drake hatched on the 194th day of the year. They are calling her Brann Kat or Kat for short.

The country of Bryagel on the continent of Bryagel reports that the first of the Grand Soar class ships is about to make its first voyage.

This is the first of the larger versions of the Soar class to be built.

Reports from the Haeflin City of Dawn on the continent of Mednadda stated that another Sand Blow has occurred south of the city. The only damage done was to a wagon that was parked near the incident. The Wagon was hauling Dragon Ale. The drover had unattached the horses to cool them down, feed and water them. The city of Dawn mourns for the loss of the 12 barrels of Dragon ale.

The country of Creal on the continent of Kenda reports that the first fruit and nut harvest of TK 1053 is earlier than expected. Several varieties of fruits have ripened several weeks earlier than normal.

The government of Greater Fyngel reports the great forest fire has been put out. The fire burned over 76,000 acres of forestland, three villages, and one city. The death toll is expected to reach over 25,000.

The government of Iceda on the continent of the Northern Shield announced that the fishing this summer has been better than the last 50 years of aqua harvesting. They will be able to export over 45% of the dried fish they produce.

The Northern Shield reports that it is having one of the warmest summers in living history. The southernmost tips of the Northern Shield are reaching temperatures of 60 degrees F. These high temperatures are 10 degrees higher than previous record breaking warm temperatures in the Northern Shield during the season of summer.

The government of Greater Fyngel reports that they have discovered the cause of the forest fire that began on the 195th day of the year. The fire was started by a mage. It is not known if this was a deliberate act or not. The human mage in question is still missing.

Duke William Aday Azin Duke of the Patronna Campaign reported in a letter to High King Rene Nari' that the Dark Forces have begun a new offensive this morning in the southeastern part of the island of Patronna. As dawn broke, lookouts and scouts saw what they described as a wall coming towards the Alliance-Horde Union defensive line. The wall was made of stone, wood, and flesh constructs. Over the past two months, the Alliance and Horde Union have installed Hell Fire Lances on the defensive line. They installed one lance position every 100 yards with two devices in reserve for each position. The Hell Fire Lances were all used today to hold the approaching wall of Darkness from breeching the Alliance-Horde defensive line. Duke William Aday is fortifying the entire defensive line around the freed lands of Patronna.

The Grand Canal Project in the country of Azin reports that the first major goal of the project has been completed. The creation of an inland harbor on the east coast of Azin has been completed. The inland harbor town of Riverhead is in the province of East Hold and is 25 miles from the ocean coast. The canal from the eastern coast to Riverhead is complete. Once a ship arrives at Riverhead on the salt-water canal, it will unload its cargo to canal boats on the internal fresh water Grand Canal of Azin.

The governess of the 12 Score Island Chain announced that the largest shipment of cacao beans ever collected since she has taken over as governess of the 12 Score Island chain has left the islands and is heading towards Moshven. The personal fleet of the Governess of Moshven is escorting the 18 ships.

The government of Stone's Rising reported that while one of the infant Drakes and her governesses were out for a walk, highwaymen kidnapped the infant Drake. The Drake, who name is Kelci, is under two years old, and is considered a high-spirited Drake. The Dwarven Guard of Stone's Rising is searching for the infant Drake.

The city of Avba in the Region of the gods in the Province of Temples on the Horde Union continent of Cimmeran reports that they discovered an ancient structure that pre-dates the Horde control of the area. The Horde Union Scholars are investigating this structure.

The government of Gemsten on the continent of Fyngel reports that they have begun a manhunt for a human power Word User of Magick that tried to steal the gems of Alquennas. According to latest reports, the criminal is heading west towards the border.

The Fifth Sphere of Haeflin Influence on the continent of Kenda reports that one of their Master Language Traders has created a cipher for the language of the Blood King. This should increase the speed of the translations being performed throughout the world. The only price for this cipher is copies of the translated documents that the new cipher will help to translate. All of the scholars that are currently translating documents from the Temple of the Blood King eagerly accept the cipher and its price.

Reports from the country of Kenda states that a score of Reapers were discovered trapped in a sinkhole near the city of Asherton, which lies in central Kenda. The Reapers were not moving, but were still alive. A message was sent to the Duchess of Kent.

The human government of Vivandar on the continent of Mednadda sent heralds to all of the realms of Alquennas, including the Horde Union. The heralds carry an invitation to have representatives come to Vivandar on the 333rd day of TK 1053 for a meeting. The government of Vivandar is deciding if it should stay neutral in world affairs or join one of the four major alliances. The alliances it is considering joining are:

The government of Ganit located on the Southern Shield reports that, based off the work of the Dwarven Healer known as Doc concerning the alteration of Red Fever and Crimson Fever, their healers have discovered a cure for a varieties of Red and Crimson Fever. It combines the root of Algo and the native Ice Mushrooms of the Southern Shield. The only difficulty is that the one administering the cure must understand the proper procedure and methodology of the cure. A sample of the cure was sent to the Dwarven healer known as Doc along with the procedure for administering the cure.

The government of the country of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel reports that the city of Carver Bay on the east coast of Frenton reports that their fishing fleet discovered three abandon ships while out to sea. The towed the ships back to harbor of Carver Bay. The ships are three Wraith Class ships. There are no maker's marks or any identifying markings on the ships. The government of Frenton will entertain applications of proof of ownership.

The government of Stone's Rising is happy to report that the infant Drake known as Kelci is home safe. This morning as the sun came up, Kelci with her 10 kidnappers were at the gate of the Keep of Stone's Rising. The Kidnappers wanted to apologize for their crimes and turned themselves in. Apparently, the kidnappers or we should say Drake-nappers, were ill prepared for taking care of an infant Drake that is high-spirited. Kelci was sad to see her ten new play-toys leave but was over excited to see her governesses.

The Duchess of Abyssinia, along with the Duchess of Terralen, and the Duchess of Kavendar - all located on the continent of Terla �have signed an agreement to form a multi-nation force to patrol the areas of the Ariddia that over the past few years have caused the nations of southern Terla issues. This would include creating and maintaining border stations, water stations, and Ariddia survival stations in the Ocean of Sand.

The islands of Mist reports that the eggs that the giant sea turtle deposited have begun to hatch. The hatchlings instinctively began heading towards the surf. Once there, they began to head out to sea.

The Haeflin government of Currerria on the continent of Vitainnia reports that their miners have discovered a rich vein of Emeralds north in the hills of Lake Cererpan near the town of Alsace.

The country of Bryagel on the continent of Bryagel reports that the Grand Soar Class ship's first voyage was a voyage to the bottom of the sea. She set sail early on the 210th day of the year for a three-day voyage. Early today on the 211th day of the year, a fire broke out below decks right to the bottom of the hull. The ship sank with all hands on board in water over 1,000 feet deep.

The country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports that the city of Ransol in the province of Fleuve had a land-quake that devastated over 60% of the buildings. The city of Freeport in the province of Gosse has sent assistance to the city of Ransol.

The city of Near Reach in the province of Azin in the country of Azin reports that a heard of large sheep have wandered into the common grazing land of the city without a herder. The city's pinder has begun to round them up and place them into a fenced area until ownership can be established. The sheep are twice the normal size as ordinary sheep.

The Horde Union city of Naki in the region of Darnlan (storms) on the Horde Union continent of Cimmeran reports that their scholars have discovered that there is a connection between the Temple of the Blood King and lycanthropes on the Living World of Alquennas. The scholars continue to report that the hate that the Lycanthropes have for the Blood King and his kind comes down to a simple philosophy of Life vs. Death. Where the Lycanthropes in this philosophy represent life, the Blood King and its kind represents death. The Scholars will be traveling to several realms with their evidence of their theory.

The government of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel reports that a human fitting the description of the criminal who attempted to steal the Gems of Alquennas used offensive magick to storm the Gate Portal station at the city of Akhtala in the province of Costa Ouest in the Region of Lori. The individual used the Gate Portal to access and travel to an unknown destination. The individual did something to the Gate Portal, as it no longer operates.

The city of Cridbis in the Region of Storms on the Horde continent of Cimmeran reports that a land quake has disrupted the normal lives of its citizens. The quake did very little damage to the structures and only minor injuries were reported, however work came to a stand still for the several moments that the quake occurred.

The Elven government of Creal on the continent of Kenda reports that the remains of a large ocean-going vessel were discovered deep in the forest. There are signs that the great ship that measures over 250 feet in length was dragged to this location. The scholars of Creal are investigating the ship for its origins.

The government of Katonnan o the continent of Mednadda has signed a trade agreement with the governments of Gregoria and Grand Oak for the specific trade of pearls and ocean goods.

Sir William Aday of Patronna sent a herald to High King Rene' Nari' with a message stating that the southeastern area of Patronna has been cleared of Dark Forces. The area is now home to a very large non-dragon lizard creature that did not and will not permit the Dark Forces to remain in the area. The Dwarves are calling it Firfirsel Guddiommen. The letter finishes with "We are currently not annoying it. It is dealing a blow to the Dark Forces and we are satisfied with that."

The Grand Sultan of Azatar has announced that a celebration will be held for his people on the 219th day of the year. It will be a national day of rest, religion, and faith.

The government of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia reports that a hunting party of Trolls was discovered near the city of Barysaw. The Aphane military dealt with the 15 adult male Trolls.

The government of Traden on the continent of Mednadda reports that a forest fire has begun in the Sable forest east of the capital city of Traven. The old growth forest has not had a major fire in it for over 200 years. The Merchant Prince of Traden has issued orders for the Mages' Guild to assist in stopping the fire.

The Duchess of the country of Terralen on the continent of Terla announced that a public works project would begin shortly. A canal from the Dizan River to the city of Luxor in the province of Luxor will be built. This is a distance of 10 miles. This canal will be named Amun after the ancient name for the god of the winds. Once completed, a second canal from Luxor to the city of Kempa in the Luxor province - a distance of 30 miles - will begin to be constructed. The second canal will be named after the Tilosian god of the winds Aeolus.

The government of the Tilos island chain reports that a huge creature they are calling Theos Falaina breeched the surface of the ocean and destroyed a squadron of 20 Rogue Class ships that were attacking their fishing fleet.

The city of Avba in the Region of the gods in the Province of Temples on the Horde Union continent of Cimmeran reports that in the structure they discovered (203rd day of the year TK 053) they have discovered a vault that contained a Celestial Ruby.

The government of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel reports that the Gate Portal station at the city of Akhtala in the province of Costa Ouest in the Region of Lori is back in service.

The government of the city state of Kreeden reports that its fishing fleet encountered three huge sea turtles that measured over 18 feet each. The three turtles led the fishing fleet to a school of Tuna. The fishing fleet was and is grateful to the Turtles as they completed filling their ships in a day instead of a week.

The Azin Minister of Defense of the country, Gerald Marshal, along with Philip Darcey, the Minister of Roads and Waterways, sent messengers to all of the Constables and Tenants of Azin and her Settlements. The message stated that, as per the King's directive, all Constables and Direct Tenants are to begin the second stage of fortifying the roads, waterways, and travel corridors of the country to increase the safe passage of goods and people within the country of Azin and her Settlements.

The island of Three Sisters reports that they have finished converting an Elven fast sloop to use kites as sails. The ship still has its traditional sails; however, the kite sails double the amount of canvas the ship can use at one time. Sea trials are slated for later this month. The ship is called the Freedom Winds.

The Horde Union reports that one of their Grand Packs (fleets) engaged 125 Rogue Class ships off the southern coast of their home continent of Cimmeran this morning. All of the Rogue Class ships were destroyed. The Grand Pack lost 240 ships.

The council of Dukes of the government of the Realm of Sea Fair reports that the Realm of Sea Fair's 3rd defensive fleet encountered 90 Rogue Class ships. The battle began on the 220th day of the year and ended late morning on the 221st day of the year. It has been estimated that 50 of the Rogue Class ships escaped. The fleet of Sea Fair lost 220 ships attempting to capture the Rogue Class ships.

The Lord Mayor of Kallon reports that a hay fire just outside the city was caused by a telescope that was left unattended. A three month supply of hay was destroyed. Sir Adam, the assistant of the Artificer and Alchemist of Kallon, reported that all of the Alchemist's telescopes were accounted for. The Lord Mayor has ordered the instrument that started the fire be sent to the Artificer and Alchemist of Kallon in order for him to investigate.

The Duke of Kallon called upon his architect to design five new fortified keeps along the roads and waterways of Kallon. These new fortified keeps are part of the directive from the Crown.

Robin Thatcher returns to Azin to host his new production of "Fool me Once..." The new play is well received by the people and Crown of Azin.

The Ship Master of the Ship Fields of Bryagel reports that they have finished building a catamaran by combining two Mammoth class cargo ships. The ship will begin sea trials in a few days. This is the largest ship ever constructed in or at the ship fields of Bryagel. The two Mammoth class ships sailed into the ship fields of Bryagel 100 days ago to begin their transformation into one ship.

The Port of Oak in the country of Moshven announced that their coastal patrol found an abandoned Wraith class ship near their harbor. There are no markings or even a maker's mark on the craft. The hold contained 20 tons of oats and wheat.

225th day of the year

The Port of Spice in the country of Moshven reports that a raging fire that occurred in the early hours today has destroyed over 40 ships docked in its harbor. The cause is not known and is still under investigation. One of the losses was a 3-barrel wine class merchant filled with Dragon Ale that had docked a few hours earlier and had not yet been unloaded. The loss of life is estimated to be over 7,000 as part of the city began to burn as well.

The Military Governor of Lords, after hearing a request from the Guild of Chandlers, imprisons the representatives of the guild for 30 days of hard labor. The guild wanted the Military Governor to outlaw individuals from making candles in their own homes. They argued that it would be safer and prevent fires. In fact, the Chandler's Guild wanted to control the making of candles for the entire country.

Duke Rory Tully sent a message to the Duchess of Kent stating that, as per the directive to ensure the safety of goods and travelers within the country of Azin, the Tully family will be constructing several new fortified keeps and castles. Among these, four will be on the border of the province of Aurora (controlled by Duke Tully) and the province of Kent. His letter ended with:

"Please feel free to inspect them and to go to them if the need arises for aid or for a social meeting." These four fortified keeps are to be known as:

The Alquennas Trade Association sent a message to the Lord Mayor of Kallon. The message stated that they were sorry to hear about the trouble with the fire and that they would be happy to help the city find and purchase replacement hay at only ¾ of their normal fee.

The Duchess of Kent sent a message to Duke Rory Tully, the Duke of Aurora. The message stated:

Dear Lord Tully
Thank you for apprising me of the future building plans of four fortified keeps on the border between your lands and mine. I believe that these outposts will be beneficial to both of our provinces. To this end, I propose that I provide at least 25% of the building materials for each outpost.

Duke Tully happily accepted the offer from the Duchess of Kent.

The Ogre Elder Council of the country of Kisda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that their spotters have counted over 11,000 unique blue whales so far during this year's migration.

The Artificer and Alchemist of Kallon sent a report to the Lord Mayor of Kallon concerning the instrument that started the hay fire on the 221st day of the year. "The instrument is not of Kallon or Azin manufacturing. The materials are not correct. In addition, the instrument was specifically designed to start fires. It contained a lens comprised of Red Flake Obsidian. This harnessed the already focused beam of light into a more intense beam, thus starting the fire in the hay."

Duke William Aday, the Human commander of the forces on Patronna, report that a great number of Hydra nests containing young, young adults, and adult hydras have been discovered on the path towards the western shores of Patronna. One of the Orcs commented that it looked like they were planted there like a row of wheat. "Very nasty and sour tempered wheat," he added.

The government of Talis reports that their southern Fishing Fleet has returned home due to the severe weather in the southern hemisphere of Alquennas.

The fishing fleet from the country of Verdar of the continent of Kenda reported that they encountered a giant squid that measured more than 130 feet in length. The fishing fleet did not know if it was a giant or colossus squid, as they were not staying to find out. The giant creature destroyed three fishing skiffs and one long boat. All of the fishermen were recovered from the ocean and only minor injuries were reported, mostly to the egos of the fishermen.

A report from the Duchess of Terralen states that one of her patrols in the Ariddia found an ancient outpost of the Gallison Estralla Empire. The walls of this outpost are comprised of the Sandstone of the Gallison Estralla Empire. She has sent scholars to investigate this discovery.

The Bay of Falda on the Island of Three Sisters report 25 ships have been destroyed by a horrific fire that began a few hours before sunrise. All 25 ships were merchant ships that had not yet unloaded their cargo. The loss of life numbers over four thousand with many more injured. The case of the fire is under investigation.

A report from the city of Freeport in the country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna (the home of the Temple of the Blood King) states that thieves attempted to break into the temporary storage of artifacts from the Temple of the Blood King last night. This is not unusual on its own. What is unusual is the brute force used to open the Iron gates of the warehouse and the removal and destruction of one of the stone walls of the building. One of the city guard's dog teams foiled the thieves. The thieves fled before they could be apprehended.

The government of Stone's Rising on the continent of Mednadda announces that six additional Drake eggs have hatched. The Drakes are:

The Horde port city of Mordda-Kar in the region of Aden-Keegan (Region of Flame) in the province of Eloandra on the Horde continent of Cimmeran reports that 160 ships have been destroyed in a severe fire that has damaged most of the harbor facilities of Mordda-Kar. The loss of life is expected to be in the tens of thousands. The Horde Union is investigating. The city is a major military port facility as well as a center of trade for the Horde Union. The ships that were lost were mostly merchant ships and cargo carriers. The report states that 115 of the 160 ships were civilian merchant ships. As a point of reference, the city of Mordda-Kar is south of the city of Jaffa-Kar.

A further report from the Duchess of Terralen states that what they thought was just an outpost of the Gallison Estralla Empire is in fact a large city that could support a population of over a million. She has requested scholars and assistance from the Duchess of Kent and the Duke of Kallon.

The Island of Three sisters have an update on the Freedom Winds, the modified Elven sloop. The ship has been undergoing sea trials and combining the kite sails with the traditional sails looks promising. The ship is 4 knots faster with the Kite sails than a traditional Elven sloop and the kite sail can reach winds the traditional sails cannot. The next hurdle is to see if the kite sails can be used like angled sails and thus allow the ship to sail against the wind.

The Councils of Rules from all four countries that comprise the Southern Shield report that this year's winter is the most severe in over 400 years. The average temperature has been -40 below during the day and -65 during night. Even the hardy Ogres of the Ice sub-clan are finding it difficult to weather this year's winter.

The Horde Union reports that a Human Weather Witch walked into the Palace of Two Worlds without being challenged. She then politely requested an audience with the Horde High Chieftain and his Queen. After an hour audience, the Human Weather Witch walked out of the Palace and into the crowds of the City of Two Worlds.

Heralds from the Horde Union arrived at the city of Azin in the country of Azin. The heralds had a message from the Horde High Chieftain Dur-Rok to the High King of Azin Rene' Nari'. The message was an invitation to meet to discuss world affairs. The meeting would be on the ocean for neutral territory. High King Rene' Nari' accepted the invitation.

A report from the bottom of the world from the continent of the Southern Shield from all of the councils of Rule from all of the countries has some grim news. The report states that there has been a detonation at the Ogre Alchemist's dwelling in southern Aliek has killed over 4,000 inhabitants in the area. The Ogre Alchemist was working on methods for protecting Alquennas from Reaper attacks. It is feared that the death toll will continue to rise. The severe winter is making the search for survivors difficult.

The Duchess of Kent, The Duke of Aurora, The Duke of Dresden prepared and sent a combined force of 4,500 soldiers and healers to the country of Aliek to help with rescue operations. The government of Aliek accepted the assistance and was and is very impressed by how prepared the soldiers and healers of Azin were to deal with the extreme weather of the winter on the Southern Shield.

The Alquennas Trade Association (ATA) reports that if the port facilities around the world that have recently burned had taken up the offer of the ATA to inspect and help bring up the facilities to proper standards, these fires would probably not have happened. The Alliance of Nations (AON) has formed an investigating panel to look into the recent harbor fires. Several of the member nations of the Alliance of Nations are calling up their naval reserves to increase security for their port cities.

The first of Kallon's new roadways and fortified keeps broke ground today 15 miles south of the city. This new style of keep will not only act as a defense against highwaymen and the elements but will also provide hospitality services for travelers including a healing center.

The Azin Royal Inquisitor, Benton Race, sent his first report concerning the Fire at Falda Bay to the Azin Minister of Roads and Waterways, Philip Darcey. They are still unclear how and why the fire began; however, they do know that it started in the water and not on the docks or on a specific ship.

The government of Kenda reports that four score of Reapers were sighted landing on the shores of eastern Kenda this morning. The Blue and Red Dragon Divisions began a search for the Reapers to no avail. They did discover the crafts the Reapers used to land on the eastern shore of Kenda. The crafts are low draft flat bottom boats. The search for the Reapers continues.

The Pirate known as Gold Beard sent a message to the Alquennas Trade Association (ATA). Gold Beard captured and looted one of the ATA Sea Convoys and sent one of the plundered ships to one of the ATA harbors. The message Gold Beard sent was simple:

You are trying to use me as a scapegoat for your actions. I will make you pay. Thank you for the ships. I look forward to adding them to my Battle Fleet.

The ships are all Wraith class ships without any maker's marks on them and they do not have any.

The port city of Slutsk in the country of Aphane reports that 25 ships and half of their port facilities were destroyed by fire early this morning. The fire started around 3 in the morning and was not brought under control until 4 in the afternoon.

A report from the port city of Swords in the country of Katonnan on the continent of Mednadda states that three score ships of unknown ensign entered the port city harbor, turned around, and left. The crew appeared to be Human, Orcish, Elven, and Dwarven in nature.

A report from the country of Iceda on the continent of the Northern Shield states that a Merchantman ship was discovered 10 miles inland. The ship's cargo is still aboard. It is 50 casks of olive oil. The ship's log and all makers' marks are missing.

An update on the Grand Canal Project of Azin from the city of Lights: The capital of the province of Aurora states that the Grand Canal project has reached its first 100 miles a year ahead of schedule. The Duke of Aurora, Rory Tully, explained that the reason for the project being ahead of schedule is simple. Even before Philip Darcy, the Minister of Roads and Waterways suggested the Grand Canal his father (Duke J. Tully) had begun a provincial version of the Grand Canal to increase trade within the province of Aurora.

Another report on the Grand Canal Project states that the crews working in the province of Maderia (The Eastern most province of Azin) have arrived at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The Dwarves of Maderia are confident they can tunnel through the range on time and on schedule.

Another report on the Grand Canal Project states the crews working in southern area of Kallon where the all of the canals will eventually meet are almost completed with the new river harbor facility. They are calling it Junction City.

A report from the city of Freeport in the country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna states that the scholars have now cataloged just over 15,000 artifacts from the temple of the Blood King. The artifacts include furniture, scrolls, books, tablets, dishes, and many other types of items. The construction of a museum near the site of the Temple of the Blood King has begun.

The Port of Silk in the country of Moshven reports that a 2 Barreller drifted into the harbor this morning with no crew on board. The harbormaster and a score of guards boarded the ship. They discovered that the ship was filled with Dragon Oil and an ignition system. The ship has been disarmed. The ship is currently anchored outside the harbor and is being unloaded. The ship's hull is lined with a heavy glass to contain the Dragon Oil.

The island nation of Trista reports that their port city of Angeles Harbor has been destroyed by fire this morning. They report that over 20 merchant and 12 warships have been destroyed along with most of the harbor facilities. They are investigating the cause.

The country of Fyngel on the continent of Fyngel reports that their ship fields have just received an order for 15 ships pre-paid for in gems. The ships ordered are all merchant ships. The person or persons who placed the order place it by a third party.

The Port of Hordan-Kar in the Aden-Keegan (region of Flame) in the province of Eloandra on the Horde Union continent of Cimmeran was ravaged by Fire this morning. The port city is also the Eloandra province depot for all of the grain grown in the province. Once the fire reached the Grand Grain Storage, there was nothing that could be done. The warm air mixed with the fuel of the dry grain began to give birth to fire tornadoes that eventually destroyed half of the harbor city and all of the grain from the first harvest of the year. The loss of life is estimated by over 10,000 deaths. It took the Local Mages Guild and the troops garrisoned at the city more than 15 hours to get the fire under control. The fire is being investigated.

The country of Ganit on the continent of the Southern Shield reports that their scholars have deciphered another scroll from the Temple of the Blood King. The scroll contains a list of holidays that do not correspond with the Alquennas calendar, either Before Kingdom or the Time of Kingdom.

The City State of Kreeden on the continent of Bryagel announces that it has finished constructing a dry dock in order to begin building ships for trading and for defense. The dry dock can accommodate up to four wraith size ships at a time. The first four ships to be built are already started. They are modified fishing ships designed to fish Tuna specifically. The ships are:

The government of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel report that their port city of Language Song has been the victim of a dastardly unprovoked act. The city is still burning from a fire begun early this morning in the pre-dawn hours. It has been estimated that over 60 ships have been destroyed as well as the entire port facility. The current estimate of loss of life is over 6,000 and is expected to rise.

The Horde Union reports that a large pod of humpback whales have assembled between their northern islands of Kayla and Grivva. They number over 90 in number. The Horde Union has sent scholars and artists to acquire what data they can on the pod.

Artimus Goddard Davis of Kallon of the country of Azin on the continent of Cellenda has discovered away to use a catapult to deliver grain, maze, rice and other foodstuffs to a location. It is a simple but effective idea, his assistant Sir James stated.

The government of Kenda reports that the northern port city of Minsk has suffered a great tragedy this day. As dawn approached, the black smoke of the harbor facilities burning masked the first rays of light. The entire harbor facility has burned to ash. Along with 40 merchant ships and 3 military ships.

The government of the Tilos Island group reports that their forces have sunk 25 Rogue class ships and have taken 30 of the Rogue Class ships. These captured ships will be added to the Tilos Navy.

The 12 Score Island Chain announced that it has increased its developed farmland by seven times what it used to be. The chocolate will flow greater than it has in two years.

A report from the Kisda Plateau in the country of Kisda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that the summer harvesting season has been the best in over 100 years. The government of Kisda will be able to export up to 30% of its harvest this year. Normally they can only export 15% of their harvest.

It is my pleasure to inform you that the Azin defensive line has been extended to the East coast of the island of Patronna. Even though it is a thin section, our forces now control both grand lakes of Patronna. They have established control over a fortified harbor near the border of the former Dwarven area and the combined work area of the island. The Port city of Thawls has the Azin and Horde banners flying over it. This morning the first cargo ship landed at its docks. I will write soon.

The Ruling Council of the Alquennas Trade Association (ATA) announces that they believe that the Pirate Gold Beard is behind these cowardly attacks and that they are willing to put a price on his head.

A report from the Battle Fleet of Kenda states that they engaged 40 Rogue Class ships in the Sea of Kenda this morning. All 40 of the Rogue Class ships were destroyed. The Battle Fleet of Kenda lost 120 of its 400 ships in the battle.

The City State of Koalh on the continent of Cellenda reports that Glass-Smiths have been able to perfect clear perfect glass of eight inches by eight inches. The moment this announcement was made, the Glass-Smiths of Koalh were over whelmed with orders.

The Pirate Gold Beard assaulted the ATA convoy known as "Merchant Convoy 115." The convoy was carrying goods and grain. Gold Beard confiscated the various non-edible goods but let the grain carriers go freely as long as they carried a note from him to the Ruling Council of the ATA.

The note read:

I do not attack anyone's food supplies. I never have, and I will not start now. I have been accused of many things and indeed have committed many crimes.

But.

The country of Gregoria on the continent of Mednadda report that they have discovered that part of their archive has been stolen. The area of interest that was taken was several scrolls and books of the Arcane Method and in the research area of alchemical gadgets.

The country of Kavendar on the continent of Terla reports that a score of Reapers on a cargo barge drifted in the Port of Oman. The defense force of Kavendar dispatched the Reapers at a high cost. Over 450 soldiers of Kavendar died stopping the Reapers. It should be noted that the barge the Reapers were using left the port of Oman three days ago to travel eleven days to Terralen's east coast.

The Council of the ATA demands that the Alliance of Nations, the Horde Union, and the Trista Confederation protect the ATA convoys at little to no cost to the ATA.

The Horde Union responded that it would escort ATA convoys. However, the price of such an escort would be coin or chain equivalent to ½ the worth of the cargo being carried per each convoy so escorted. The Horde Union further stated that this was not a negotiation and that was their final price.

The Grand Sultan of Azatar sent a letter to all of the nations that have had grain depots destroyed, including the Horde Union.

Gildren Ath Traden, a Haeflin land Baron in the country of Traden, makes an offer to the Horde Union. He is outraged that someone would target the food supply of a nation. He is willing to supply the Horde Union with enough food to replace to the loss at Hordan-Kar at cost including shipping.

The Lady of Draconic Splendor announced that a Sea Drake happened upon a 3 Barreller heading towards one of Kenda's ports. The ship was empty of crew but not cargo. It was filled with Salamander and Dragon Oil. The ship also had an ingenious triggering and navigational device.

The city of Dresden reports that a barge filled with a flammable liquid exploded just outside the gates of the city. The city of Dresden has a river running through the middle of it.

The Alliance of Nations responds to the demand of the ATA for the Alliance of Nations escorting their convoys for free with a simple two letter word. "No."

The government of Stone's Rising announced that criminals unleashed infant hydras into the Dragon Egg Vault. The infant hydras were stopped before they could harm any of the eggs. They are investigating.

The Horde Union accepts Gildren Ath Traden's offer to sell them grain at cost to replenish their foodstuffs destroyed by the Fire at Hordan-Kar.

The Horde Union Continent of Cimmeran reports that they have concluded that the fire that destroyed the grain at Hordan-Kar was not an accident. There are signs of Arcane Magick in the area where the fire started.

The Trista Confederation responds to the ATA's demand that they escort their convoys for free with a letter:

The City State of Kreeden located on the continent of Bryagel reports that sea raiders attempted to gain access to their capital city. The report states that 240 ships comprised of Wraith Class ships and Merchantmen ships acting as troop transports attacked this morning. They were attempting to gain access to the Harbor of Kreeden. The Kreeden defenses held and the invasion was repelled. The defense minister of Kreeden stated, "If they would have pressed their attack once more, the outer defenses would have still held.

The government of The Independent States of Kallor has hired three engineering companies from the neighboring country of Abyssinia to improve the roads on the coastline of their outer banks. The roads are currently not much more than dirt paths and, during the raining season, they become impassable.

Report from the country of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia states that an agreement between Aphane and the Haeflin Alliance has at last been reached and signed concerning the Haeflin temple found in Aphane. The Haeflins will be sending a delegation of caretakers and scholars to manage, provide upkeep, and begin restoration for the temple. The Government of Aphane will provide building materials and food for the temple inhabitants.

The country of Greater Fyngel on the continent of Fyngel reported that lightning storms have caused massive forest fires in the outer lying areas of the country. The vales of Greater Fyngel are not in danger. However, some of the woods (towns) of the Great and the Wood Elves might be in danger.

The island of Torn that is located just North West of the continent of Terla has been renamed Shark Island. The human outpost from Terralen has observed over 40 different species of sharks in great number arriving, staying, and living around the island. The great reef that connects the island to the continent of Terla has been renamed Shark Reef.

Out of the Wasteland of Azin, five travelers walk to the defensive line of Kent and firmly request to see the commander of the defensive line - Sir Ira, the First Knight of the Duchess of Kent.

The city of Avba (Obsidian) in the region of the Gods in the Province of Temples on the Horde Continent of Cimmeran reports that four score of Reapers attempted to gain access to the burial chambers of the honored dead and were stopped by the Avba guard using the Pratt Fall Maneuver.

The government of Xendana on the continent of Xendarna reports that three scores of Reapers landed on their northern coast. Their defense force met the Reapers on the plains of Sorg. The Dwarven User of Magick that was with the defense force decided to use the Flott Host, which is Dwarven for Great Fall, what they call the Pratt Fall Maneuver. After seven hours, he decided it was time to let the Reapers go. It took nine hours to clean up the Reaper remains.

A report from the Sea of Kenda, states that ships of the Kenda Navy encountered three Rogue Class ships in the open ocean. The ships of the Kenda Navy gave chase. When the Rogue Class ships sighted the ships of the Kendan Navy, the Rogue Class ships raised three masts and unfurled several large sails. The Rogue Class ships quickly departed the area. The Kendan ships could not match the speed of the sailed Rogue Class ships.

The government of Unadrian on the continent of Mednadda reports that they are expelling the Haeflin Delegates of the 3rd sphere and 4th sphere of Haeflin influence. They are accused of trying to influence the government of Unadrian with riches and rewards.

A report from Moshven's minister of Sea Harvesting states that the lobster, crab, and shellfish tax will be lifted for 45 days to encourage additional harvesting. The populations of the various shellfish have exploded over the last three years. The ¼P tax per bushel was set up to help control the harvesting. It was also a way to pay for the enforcement of the tax.

All of the countries of the continent of the Southern Shield report that they are beginning to emerge from the harshest winter in over 300 years. The Ice harvest of goods has been reduced by 60% due to the severe winter. They are all looking forward to the short summer that is coming.

Rumors from the Realm of Sea Fair state that a Rogue Class ship limped into the sheltered harbor of Carvan-Dar. It surrendered to the harbormaster's wife as the harbormaster was inspecting a cargo ship at the time. The fate of the ship and the crew is unknown. The government of the Realm of Sea Fair claims no knowledge of this event.

A representative of the Clan of Fortune of the Horde Union announced that his clan has mined a 450 ct diamond. It has two flaws, but is brilliant in color. The Horde Union will send the Star of the Horde on a traveling display throughout the realms. The traveling display will begin on the 400th day of the year.

The Merchant's Guild of Kent is happy to announce that an Armor Mage, a Bowyer Mage, and a Weapons Mage have combined their skills and have opened a shop together just outside the Keep of Kent.

The Dwarves of the Forked Mountains in the country of Azin on the continent of Cellenda are preparing for the annual ale and beer festival. This traveling celebration is being held this year in the Forked Mountains of Azin. Teams of brewers will begin to arrive on the 293rd day of the year and the festival does not officially start until the 307th day of the year.

The Port of Silk, the current capital of the country of Moshven, announced that it would begin building a sixth dry dock in the Harbor of Silk beginning on the 290th day of the year. The dry docks have allowed for larger and quicker ship construction and have a better way to introduce the ships into the water.

The country of Iceda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that a Great White Whale over 100 feet long has been spotted in the water and was heading south.

The government of Emerald Island reports that their fishing fleet encountered several pods of large whales heading north. This is not unusual for the journey this time of year. What is unusual is the number of whales. The numbers range from 500 to 600 whales all within 4 miles of each other.

The Island Chain of Mist reports that a Giant Sea Turtle has come on land. This turtle is the same one that has been here before. The government of Mist had previously marked the turtle with a tag and it is still there. This time the Giant Turtle brought six friends. After dining on sugar cane, they made their way back to the beach, just above the tide line. They dug nests and laid their eggs. The government of Mist has marked the covered nests and has posted guards to protect them.

The city of Freeport in the country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports that a gang of thieves attempted to break into the storehouse where the items from the Temple of the Blood King are being stored until they are processed. The thieves did not expect the Saurian watchdogs. Thieves Zero, Watchdogs 11. In the morning, 11 thieves were found, cowering in the corner of the storehouse and not daring to move for fear of their lives.

Terla reports that a race has been organized that will take the racers though the Ariddia. The First international Sand Sail Rally has been organized. The Grand Sultan of Azatar is supporting this race as a way to open international relations and to forester new and continuing relationships. The Grand Sultan will be hosting the racers and their teams at the race's start. He has already informed the world that he will host a special celebration the day before the race. This celebration will include a grand feast for the racers, their teams, and the inhabitants of the city of Ad-Dawr where the race is starting. The Grand Sultan would like everyone to know that all are welcome to enter the Sand Sail Rally regardless of religion, nationality, or race.

The race will begin in Azatar at the city of Ad-Dawr (the Jewel of Azatar) and proceed due south to the city of Qena in Terralen. The race will start on the 400th day of the year.

Artimus Goddard Davis of Kallon announced that he is currently testing a portable defensive position that would be able to hold an entire tent of Azin infantry (10 soldiers) as well as their equipment and supplies. The portable defense requires a team of four mules or horses to move. Currently a Tent is issued a single draft animal, which is currently a mule or a donkey. This portable defense would allow an infantry army to set up camp very quickly and get out of the elements quickly while on campaign. The individual portable defensive positions can link together to form a formable defense complex. Individually, they offer great protection against infantry, horse cavalry, mages, and siege engines. The only down side is that they are not cheap.

In Field Cross news, Thomas Harrison of the Realm of Sea Fair signed a three-year contract to play for the Globe Crushers, the Goblin team from Cimmeran.

The Port of Silk in the country of Moshven reports that the Royal Azin engineers and the Engineering Company First of the Forked Mountains have begun to mark out the outline of the new dry dock. They gave the youngest and smallest member of their team a wooden shovel and a bucket. They led him to the center of where the dry dock will be located. They told him to start digging and to have the entire area done by lunchtime. They left him there and he began to dig.

Weather Diviners on the continent of the Southern Shield all announced that a heavy storm would engulf the entire continent over the next few days.

A report from the City State of Dawn on the continent of Mednadda reports that another explosion south of the city occurred this morning. A fissure in the ground measuring three feet wide by 30 feet long fractured the dense stone of the area. This explosion revealed an abundant deposit of copper and white lead. The Haeflins are consulting the Dwarves on how to best mine these resources.

The commander of the Arctic Wolf Brigade of the Azin Northern Army is currently stationed neat Ganit city in the country of Ganit on the continent of the Southern Shield wrote a letter home to her Husband. It read:

Dearest Husband:
Our departure from the Southern Ice Forest is delayed due to the incoming horrific weather. Two of my columns are currently shoring up the outer weather wall of the city. It is amazing to watch my troops along side Horde troops working as a single unit. We still surprise them from time to time, especially with our determination. This will be my last letter until the Gate Portal reopens after the storm is over. The Arch Magus of the Horde that is also stationed here has informed me that the storms emit an interfering energy that can confuse the gate portal on the destination programmed in. I have seen evidence of this first hand. The snow is starting to fall, it is not a storm yet, there is no wind, not yet anyway.

The public Gate Portal of the Forked Mountains is seeing a great deal of use this day as brewers and brewing teams from around the world are arriving for the annual Ale and Beer festival. This year, even the Horde was invited to send a team. The Horde has accepted this great honor and has sent a team of 30 brew masters.

Reports from Azatar, Terralen, and the Realm of Sea Fair state the same occurrence. A great bird, most likely a Roc instigated a fight with a great Dragon. The Dragon tried not to fight the Roc; however, after several attacking runs on the Dragon, the Dragon had had enough. All of the reports state the Dragon was a Fire Drake as it stopped in mid air, turned towards the approaching Roc, and then roasted the Roc in its own feathers.

The country of Traden on the continent of Mednadda reports that one of the governmental gold mines has reached an intersecting vein of Green Snow Flake Obsidian. Actually, the gold vein ends right above it. The government of Traden has contacted the government of Stone's Rising for assistance in mining the Green Flake Obsidian.

A report from the Wolf Line on the border of the province of Kent and the province of Aurora in the country of Azin state that 40 members of a lumbering gang have gone missing. There are no signs, they just disappeared.

The Realm of Sea Fair reports that its northern fishing fleet encountered a great sea monster that attacked one of its fishing vessels. The Sea Monster took the boat's catch of cod as tribute and left, leaving the ship fairly intact and the crew somewhat surprised.

Duke Rory Tully orders four of Artimus Goddard Davis of Kallon's portable defensive positions in order to test them in the field. The Dwarves of Valinnia have struck a bargain with the government of the City State of Dawn to mine the copper and white lead deposits recently found just south of the city.

The first agreement permits the Mere Folks to stable their Sea Horses and Sea Lions in the Great Wall Reef. In exchange, the Mere Folk have begun salvaging ships from around the area of the Great Wall Reef and are providing the recovered items to Talis.

The government of Bryagel reports that one of their Users of Magick has successfully imbued a ship with repel water. The Elven sloop will be tested over the next several weeks. In the past, the repel water spell on a ship would be overwhelmed and fail.

The Alchemist Abigail Winters ath Kenda sent a letter to the Federation of Alchemists and Naturalists claims she has rediscovered a method to coat items with noble metals. She made her discovery while working on making a better mirror to be used one day in the lighthouses on the coast of Kenda.

The Artificer of Kallon, Artimus Goddard Davis, makes the first delivery to Duke Tully of his portable defensive position. Artimus Goddard Davis has named them the "Moving Rooks."

The Realm of Sea Fair announced that beginning in TK 1054 they would offer a new warship designed they are calling the Spirit Class ship. This five or six masted vessel is designed for heavy combat.

The country of Kenda reports that 4 scores of Reapers were traveling at great speed across the southern plains of Kenda heading for the coast. The Reapers outpaced the patrol sent to keep an eye on them.

The government of Tel' Narra on the continent of Vitainnia report that all traffic on the River Capertan was stopped as a family of giant beavers felled trees that blocked all navigation of the river for over 10 hours. The beavers removed the felled trees to their pond ½ mile away.

The Port of Silk, the capital of the country of Moshven, announced that an agreement with the country of Azin that will allow citizens from both countries to travel to and from each country without going through the security checkpoints. In addition, all tariffs between Azin and Moshven have been removed.

The remaining units from the order of the portable defensive positions for Duke Tully are delivered to the Wolf Line. They are installed around Silver Wolf for added defensive power.

The Alchemist Abigail Winters ath Kenda completed what she is calling a dual mill. It is a mill powered by a water wheel and a windmill. This allows the mill to be used all year round, and allows the surplus power generated to be used by other devices. She is working on the other devices. They include a seed drill powered by the windmill.

The Azinian royal survey team that was sent to the Island of Tara, which is part of the Emerald Island Group, has returned after successfully completing the survey of the island of Tara.

The Haeflin government of Currerria announced the engagement of Prince Jorgel' to Jennel the daughter of a wealthy merchant in Currerria. The Wedding will be held in TK 1054.

The government of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports that the Lord Mayor of the city of Freeport has requested to be released from his duties managing the city of Freeport and the Temple of the Blood King. The government of Carwin is looking for a replacement.

The annual brewer's festival in the Forked Mountains in the country of Azin has begun. This is the first year that members of the Horde Union have been invited to participate in the two-week event. The Horde brought with them 500 33-gallon barrels of some of their best ales and beers.

The City State of Kreeden on the Bryagel Continent announced that their harvest for TK 1053 has been bountiful and they will be able to export a greater amount of grains, fruits, and wines this year.

The Bay of Thunder on the Island of Three Sisters reports that Cla' Ma of the Mere Folk brought into the harbor an unusual craft that the Mere folk had found at the bottom of the Sea of Azin. The Lord Mayor of The Bay of Thunder called for the Ship Master from the Bay of Nari' to investigate this craft.

The government of Aphane announced that the arrangement with the Haeflin Alliance with concerns to the newly discovered Haeflin temple is working out very well for all concerned.

Fishermen from the Dwarven country of Gemsten report they acquired, by accident, a lobster that weighs over 15 pounds. This monster of a lobster was caught in their nets this morning. They have offered this great catch to their monarch. King Cragva of Steel happily accepted the lobster.

A message from the Horde Union to the Alliance of Nation members... As per the Agreement with the Alliance of Nations, the Horde Union is sending an additional 25 Claws worth of infantry and 10 of Cavalry and 5 siege units to Patronna.

The Elven country known as the Realm of Long Wood on the continent of Kenda announced that their equestrian acrobatic troop would begin touring the realms. The troop's first stops will be on the continent of Kenda and then they will announce dates for other countries and continents. The horses and horse and rider teams are divided into sections by the horse color. They are called Choreyoun, which is Tilos for Dancing Angel or, in Dwarven, Dans Vinkel.

Stone's Rising reports that another attempted break in occurred at the Dragon Hatchery this morning. The thieves were found alive, curled up in terror as the infant Drakes lead by Kelci were playing with them. The eight individuals plead guilty.

Horde healers of the country of Alike on the continent of the Southern Shield report they believe they have found an additional treatment for Red Fever. They have sent their results and notes to the Rose Healing Sanctuaries and to all of the healer guilds throughout the world.

The Azinian royal survey team that was sent to the Island of Erin, which is part of the Emerald Island Group, has returned after successfully completing the survey of the island of Erin.

A report from Duke Rory Tully concerning the portable defensive position of Artificer and Alchemist Artimus Goddard Davis states that only a few modifications are needed to make the portable defensive positions very useable. Duke Rory Tully places another order for 40 of the mechanisms to be built. Once completed, they are to be sent to Patronna to aid Duke Aday in his battles there.

The government of the Emerald Island group reported that a Minotaur was discovered on the small island of Clover. The government of the Emerald Island group sent forces to dispatch the Minotaur. The Royal Azinian Survey team discovered the Minotaur, while making a survey of the island.

At the Capital of Two Worlds of the Horde Union, the economic delegations of the Alquennas Trade Association (ATA), merchants from several countries, and the Horde High Council began their meeting. The meeting's goal is to attempt the transition of the Horde from its unique currency to the currency of Alquennas. This would benefit all of the nations of Alquennas.

The government of Katonnan on the continent of Mednadda reports the second series of roads of the People's Road System has begun building. They are hoping to get the first five miles of road constructed prior to the first snowstorms of the oncoming winter. The government of Katonnan recognizes that the People's Road System would not be possible without the help of the governments and peoples of Azin and Kenda.

The Duchess of Abyssinia reports that the former Open City of Terla has transitioned to the northern outpost city of the country of Abyssinia. The transition was relatively bloodless. The city will act as a trading and cultural post for the country of Abyssinia. The government of Abyssinia has garrisoned 10 columns of battle-tested troops in the city for the city's own defense.

After lengthy discussions at the Capital of Two Worlds, the Horde has decided not to convert their currency system to that of the universal coin system of Alquennas.

The government of the country of Talis on the continent of Vitainnia reports that their fishing fleet, upon returning from the ocean, discovered an Ocean Raider ship abandoned near the entrance of the Sheltered Sea. The ship was taken under tow to a harbor. The government of Talis is still investigating.

The government of the country of Verdar on the continent of Kenda report that miners discovered a cavern of large to huge crystals of amethyst. Some of the pipes measure nine feet in diameter by several more feet in length. The government of Verdar has contacted the Duke of Dresden and the Duchess of Kent for assistance with documenting the materials within this cavern and for devising a plan to harvest them.

The Horde Union has expelled all of the members of the Alquennas Trade Association from all of the lands controlled by the Horde Union. This result is due to the numerous insults the Alquennas Trade Association had inflicted upon the Horde Union during the economic conference.

The Wizard Council of Gregoria (the ruling body of the country) announced that it has been able to translate several ancient documents concerning basic magick plant and basic magick earth. The Wizard council will make copies of these translated documents available to those that wish to have them at the cost of copying them and transport.

The first shipment of Green Snowflake Obsidian from Frenton to Gemsten has arrived safely. The shipment is in payment to the Dwarves of Gemsten for assisting Frenton when the vein was discovered (TK 1052). They are harvesting 500 lbs a month from the mine.

The Port of Cloth on the northeastern area of country of Moshven announces that their third dry dock has been completed. This one uses a windmill to power the water pumps to remove and add water to the dry dock.

The High Chieftain of the Horde Union Dur-Rok sent a private letter to the High King of Azin.

The First international Sand Sail Rally from Azatar to Terralen through the Ariddia has 200 competitors registered. The race will start on the 400th day of the year. The Grand Sultan of Azatar welcomes all to participate in the race. It has been confirmed that the Hospitality Inns from Draconic Splendor will be hosting four hospitality stations at the various checkpoints in the Ariddia.

There is a proclamation from the office of the High Chieftain of the Horde Union, addressing trade with the Horde Union. The High Chieftain has stated that all contracts with the Alquennas Trade Association are now completely nullified, and any authorizations issued by the Horde Union to the Alquennas

Trade Association in the past will henceforth no longer be valid or be honored by the Horde Union. This includes the Dresden Accords.

The Royal Azin Survey team's next destination is the Island of Cork in the Emerald Island group. The Ruler of the Emerald Island group, King Steven, has requested the assistance of Azin in building better infrastructure in the Emerald Island group. The Emerald Island Group produces enough food to export 90% of their harvested crops each year. The only problem is getting them to foreign markets. The internal road and waterway systems of the Emerald Island Group are virtually non-existent.

Sir William Aday Duke of Patronna sent a letter to High King Rene' Nari' of Azin.

My Sovereign Lord:

It is my desire to find you and your family well. The defensive line of Patronna has remained the same as it was in my last letter to you. There have been several battles that have moved the location of the defensive line back and forth. As of this morning, the defensive line is once again secured. The Horde Union's Gray Claw masterfully defeated an advancing force without losing as single member yesterday. This took the momentum out of the enemies' offensive. I will keep you updated.

The Alquennas Trade Association has informed all of the merchants of Alquennas that if they do business with the Horde Union, they will be fined and forced to pay damages to the Alquennas Trade Association. The Alquennas Trade Association continued by stating that any merchant caught trading with the Horde Union will be denied access to Gate Portals for any type of trade or travel use.

A report from the 5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence located on the continent of Kenda stated that a large number of Reapers attacked several villages in the northern part of the country. It has been estimated that over 1,000 inhabitants of the 5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence have been killed by the Reapers. The whereabouts of these Reapers is unknown.

The government of the country of Vivandar on the continent of Mednadda sent a letter to the Horde Chieftain stating that they have discovered four Wraith Class Ships within the borders of their country. The ships were dated to TK 1042 and were found 50 miles from the nearest body of water that could support the great ships. The cargo of weapons and stores of food are still on the ships. There are no signs of any of the crews.

319th day of the year

The 45 merchants that attended the trade conference at the Capital of Two Worlds reported the reason why the Alquennas Trade Association was thrown out of the Horde Union. The reason was due to their representatives' not showing proper respect to a High King and the entire Horde Union.

The Horde Union wanted to include an additional coin in the currency system to represent their acceptance of it. The Horde Union specifically did not request that any existing coin design be changed. Instead, they suggested the addition of a small piece representing the value of 1/8 of a Penny. They did request that a Horde symbol be used upon this minor coin. The rest of the merchants at the meeting thought that the Horde Union's request was fair and reasonable. The response from the Alquennas Trade Association�s representatives was "No, why should we devalue our currency by using a Horde symbol?"

A clash between the Blue Banner Fleet of Kenda and a large fleet of Rogue Class Ships occurred today. Over 15 hours of battle took place in the seas around the continent of Terla. The Blue Banner Fleet lost 160 ships and the Rogue Class fleet lost 90 ships before both sides withdrew.

Note: The Blue Banner Fleet of Kenda is a Naval Superiority / Supremacy fleet designed to destroy enemy fleets.

The country of Kisda on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that winter is now fully entrenched over the Northern Shield as the continuous heavy storms have engulfed the continent. The only means of communications and trade are the Gate Portals. They have respectfully informed the Alquennas Trade Association that if the ATA wishes to stop Northern Shield usage of the Gate Portals, they may try. The defense forces of the Northern Shield look forwards to meeting any and all ATA representatives that try to enforce their declaration.

The High King of Azin, King Rene' Nari', and the Council of Dukes of Kenda sent a combined letter to all of the Alquennas Trade Association outposts on Alquennas.

The letter stated very simply,

Good Sirs -

Your association does not control the Gate Portal system of Alquennas. Especially in regards to any Gate Portals located in Azin or in Kenda.

Any actions on the part of your officials that deny any merchant their legal right to use a Gate Portal in either Azin or Kenda will result in troops from Azin and Kenda knocking down the doors belonging to and then the arresting of the members of the Alquennas Trade Association performing such actions.

The letter was signed with the official seals of both kingdoms.

The first portable defensive position of the order for Patronna has been completed and is awaiting shipping.

The Duchess of Kent announces that one of her vassals, Colin ath Kent, has agreed to open an Agricultural University in Kent. The University will be able to teach a class size of 100 students. The University is to be called the Katrina Isis Memorial University.

The Independent States of Kallor located on the continent of Terla report that a member of the Alquennas Trade Association was killed by what the investigators believe was a lead bullet from a Stone Bow. The local government is still investigating this crime.

The Horde Union announced that each region of the Horde Union would be entering sand sail craft in the Great Sand Race on the 400th day of the year.

322nd day of the year

The isolationist country of Vivandar on the continent of Mednadda announced that it would field three ships per division in the Great Sand Race. This announcement shocked most of the realms of Alquennas as Vivandar has been closed to travelers and trade since before the Fourth War with the Horde.

A report from the government of Tel' Narra on the continent of Vitainnia states that wreckage has been washing ashore. It has been landing on the northern coast. This has been occurring for the past 10 days. The wreckage is from wooden vessels and by the amount of the wreckage; it is a great number of vessels.

An explosion rocked the city of Thornarn the capital of the country of Xendana on the continent of Xendarna early this morning. Apparently, the Dwarven Alchemist Drag-Carven was experimenting with a new method or procedure to remove rust from an object. Once the source was identified, the citizens of the capital of Xendana went about their normal day's business.

The first set of ten units of the portable defensive positions of Artificer and Alchemist Artimus Goddard Davis arrives at Patronna. They are immediately placed on the outer defensive line.

The Shipmaster of the ship fields of Bryagel reported that several ships under construction were damage due to a waterspout that formed right over the cove of the ship field. It will take two weeks to repair the damage to the facility.

The island of Amber off the east coast of the Islands of Three Sisters announced that their miners discovered a great beast encased in amber in their 3rd mine. The government of Amber has asked for scholars from Azin for assistance with identifying the creature.

324th day of the year

The country of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia sent the Alchemist Abigail Winters ath Kenda a message stating they will fund one of her Dual Mills and the idea she has in using it to power a seed drill. The Alchemist accepted their generous offer and will travel to Aphane on the 330th day to start planning and construction of the Dual Mill.

The government of Greater Fyngel on the continent of Fyngel reports that an Alquennas Trade Association ocean caravan sought shelter from a Rogue Class fleet in one of their northern harbor. The 400-vessel ocean caravan or convoy is fully loaded with goods.

The Grand Sultan of Azatar has announced that he agrees with the Horde Union's decision concerning the Alquennas Trade Association. He announced that the country of Azatar would trade with the Horde Union. If the Alquennas Trade Association has issues with this, they can bring them directly to the court of Azatar.

325th day of the year

The Horde Union reports that a sea convoy heading to Patronna with supplies for both Alliance of Nation Troops and Horde Troops was attacked. It is reported at 30 of the 120 ships were taken and 20 more sunk. The attackers were using Horde and Alliance ships and they did not have an Ensign flying.

There are reports coming out of the country of the 5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence on the continent of Kenda that several cities have begun to riot and rebel against the current government.

The Harbor Master of Sennaca Harbor in the country of Trade on the continent of Mednadda reports that three ships collided at the entrance of the harbor in the thick fog this morning. Over 45 sailors have been injured and one of the three ships, a merchantman, may not be salvageable.

The Port city of Closen of the country of Verdar on the continent of Kenda repot that they have completed the transformation of a Wraith Class Warship into a line dredger. This will allow port cities to dredge their harbors a great deal quicker and easier. They are calling this design the coastal dredger.

The Realm of Sea Fair on the continent of Terla report that their fishing fleet encountered a large great white shark that measured over 25 feet in length. The shark tore through the fishing fleet's nets and had a great meal courtesy of the fishing fleet's catch.

The Elven Kingdom of Pinewood on the continent of Kenda reports that 20 score of Reapers traveled through their lands to the coast (west coast of the continent) and then walked into the ocean.

Sir William Aday, the Duke of Patronna has announced that Patronna will be entering the Great Sand Race with a combined Alliance of Nations and Horde Union Team. This morale building exercise will show the teamwork that the Alliance of Nations and the Horde Union have accomplished on Patronna to the rest of the realms of Alquennas.

The government of Kisda located on the continent of the Northern Shield proudly announces that based off the recent work that discovered a new method for combating Red Fever, their healers have found a new method for combating Red Death.

Several factions of the Alquennas Trade Association have made requests to the government of Kenda and Azin to see if they can help mediate the current global crisis as they call it.

A report from the country of Aliek on the continent of the Southern Shield reports that an explosion erupted 70 miles northeast of the country in the ocean. The explosion was the new eruption of an underwater volcano. There is now a new island northeast of the Southern Shield. The eruption created a tidal wave of 20 feet. There are no reports of injuries.

The Elven government of the Realm of Long Wood reported that a hunting band of Trolls has been dealt with in their great eastern forest. There were 18 male trolls in the hunting band. The Elven hunters of the Realm of Long Wood have not found this band's female troll leader.

The government of Unadrian on the continent of Mednadda report that their merchant ship encountered a band of pirates in the sea of Kenda. The armed escorts drove off the 10 pirate ships. They flew the ensign of Gold Beard.

A report from Patronna states that the portable defensive positions of Artificer and Alchemist Artimus Goddard are worth their weight in precious gems. They have allowed the Horde Union and Alliance of Nation forces to push the defensive line over two miles deeper into enemy held territory.

The Governments of Kenda and Azin have agreed to mediate the issue with the Alquennas Trade Association and the Horde Union. The first meeting is scheduled for the 390th day of the year. The location of the meeting is the Azin-controlled Island of Sail.

The Abbot General of the Abby of Saint Katrina traveled to the Capital city of Azin concerning a newly discovered document entitled Stor Skam. It explains a great deal about the issues of Patronna.

The Duchess of Kent announces that she is sponsoring two teams per division in the Great Sand Race of Terla.

The Navy of Kenda reports that a Merchantman, the Fray Fortune, a ship registered to the country of the 5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence rammed the Horde Union goods carrier Lar-Sarg. Once the ships were entwined, the Haeflins boarded the ship. All hands were lost on the Horde Union ship. The Haeflin captain claimed the Lar-Sarg attacked them first with missile weapons.

The government of Azatar has announced it will field three sand sail ships per class category in the Great Sand Race. The eldest son of the Grand Sultan of Azatar will command one of the ships.

The First Knight of Azin, Alexandria Elizabeth Tempest Varga, has ordered that a column of troops from each Constable and High Duke of Azin shall be sent to the capital of the country for possible deployment.

A weapons convoy from the city of Dresden to the city of Trio in Kenda has been robbed in Kenda. The convoy was carrying weapons that were made after Dresden was liberated from the Horde Union during the Fourth War with the Horde. Weapons stolen included:

There were 25 wagonloads of these weapons stolen. There are no leads at this time on who or what stole the weapons.

Talis Land Baron Leo Mentz sent heralds out to all of the realms. The heralds were carrying a message that Leo has finished building the Wind Spirit ship. The design, according to Leo, will out sail any ship on the seas or oceans at this time. He will be sailing the Wind Spirit from Talis to Kenda starting on the 340th day of the year.

The government of Azatar reports that their fishing fleet encountered four derelict ships on the open ocean. They are being towed into port to be investigated.

334th day of the year

Rumors coming from the country of the 5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence states that open fighting has erupted throughout the country. There are reports of fighting in every major urban center and rural center of power in the country.

The annual Swan Upping has begun in the country of Azin. This normally occurs two months earlier in Azin; however, world events caused the delay. Last year's count was a little over 11,234 adults.

A report from the government of Gemsten, located on the Fyngel continent, stated that one of its merchant fleets was attacked in the sea of Kenda. The fleet was carrying minerals to Kenda. Gemsten reports that the unknown attackers took 30 ships. The crews of those ships were forced to jump over board. The remaining ships in the merchant fleet picked up the crews in the water. The enemy did not fly any national or organizational ensigns.

The other Spheres of Haeflin Influence are sending troops to help stabilize the government of the 5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence.

The country of Alima on the Southern Shield reports that their harbor ice is gone and their fleet will be setting out to sea for their summer fishing season with military escort. They plan on sailing on the 348th day of the year.

The first civilians head towards the Wolf Line settlements between the province of Azin, the province of Kallon, and the province of Aurora in the country of Azin on the continent of Cellenda.

The council of Dukes of Kenda agreed to mobilize the Dragon Divisions of Kenda. They are taking this action to prepare to intervene in their neighbors' (5th Sphere of Haeflin Influence) issues before it spills over into Kenda.

Baroness Sirena Gallison Artemis ath Kent is appointed the Military Governess of the Wolf Line. She has proven herself a capable administrator and warrior. Her previous post was as the Governess of the Kent University of Magical Studies.

The Duchess of Terralen has announced that, since the finish for the Great Sand Race is within her borders, she will be hosting a victory ball the day after the race. Everyone who will and has participated prior, during, and after the start of the race is invited. She has sent a special invite to the Grand Sultan of Azatar, as he is the creator of the race.

The Duchess of Abyssinia reported that several young Great Worms have been discovered in the valley of Ice. She has requested scholars from several realms to travel to Abyssinia to study the creatures.

The government of Currerria on the continent of Vitainnia reports that a score of Reapers attacked two villages in the north of the country. They were not interested in the population. The Reapers attacked the buildings, especially the grain storehouses and the mills. Once the Reapers destroyed the buildings, they left heading north.

The Grand Sultan of Azatar accepts the invite from the Duchess of Terralen concerning her Victory Ball after the Great Sand Race. He is looking forward to this event.

The country of Iceda located on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that a large flock of penguins has completed their winter march to their winter home on the rock of Iceda. The inhabitants of Iceda understand that the long night of winter is approaching by this sign, even more so than the sea freezing or the nights getting longer.

The 8th Haeflin Sappers of the Third Sphere of Haeflin Influence marched into the city of Lords to surrender to the Military Governor. They refused to follow the orders they were given. Their orders were to burn down the cities of Lords, Dresden, and Coventry and to make it look like the Horde Union was responsible.

The country of Alima on the Southern Shield reports that 30 of their 60 ship fishing fleet and 40 of the military escort ships have been stolen. Who, how, and why are questions everyone is asking and there appears to be no answers.

The city-state of Dawn on the continent of Mednadda has succeeded from the Haeflin Alliance and will not support any attack upon any of the city-state of Dawn's allies.

A land quake centered in the seas near the city of Freeport (the location of the Temple of the Blood King) caused little damage to the area. What is now happening is that debris from sunken shipwrecks is washing up on shore.

The Horde Union is sending a Horde inquisitor to Alima on the Southern Shield to investigate the theft of the ships. The Horde inquisitor is the High Chieftain's Sister, Darna Rok. Darna Rok pledges to find the underlying cause of this puzzlement.

The Oracle of Terla walked to the Public Gate Portal and traveled to the public Gate Portal of Kent in Azin. There she intimidated the Saurian: Dragon Kin guards. She was able to meet with her friend the Duchess of Kent, have lunch, and then return home. Her assistants were not too happy with her sudden desire to travel to another country for lunch.

The Military Governor of Lords commended the government of the city-state of Dawn on their decision. Additionally, the Military Governor has stated for all to hear that any attack on the City State of Dawn is an attack on the country of Azin and her Settlements as well as an attack on the country of Valinnia.

The Dark has started another offensive. This time, the offensive is in the south in the great forest of Patronna. I believe this is a feint to draw our combined forces away from the rest of the defensive line. The Ghost Claws of the Horde Union 3rd and the Highlanders of Azin have volunteered to slow down the dark forces until the real intentions of this attack are known.

I understand that, in the next few weeks, the Ghost Claw and the Highlanders may only exist in our memories. However, watching them march out this morning together increased troop morale a thousand fold.

The province of Kallon in the country of Azin reports that snow has begun to fall in central Kallon both on the plains and in the mountains. This is an early snowfall. Farmers have begun to plow the snow under in their fields.

The country of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia reports that two of the iron mines in their country have collapsed. The mines are not even located close to each other. The number of injured is reported to be over 350 in casualties. Sadly, this number is expected to increase.

A report from the Horde Union states that the port city of Harven in the region of Korant (Rule) on Cimmeran was attacked this morning. The report continues to state that unknown naval-born, gate portal-born, and magical-born forces attacked the city moments after first light.

The estimated strength of the attacking forces was over 11,000 troops. According a War leader of a local Hand, Targen-Rok, the enemy's plan of attack was masterful.

"They waited until the garrison and the adjacent military encampment were on maneuvers over 10 leagues away. Then the enemy dismantled the Gate Portal and destroyed the gates leading to the Inner City. These actions ensured that reinforcements would be delayed by hours if not days to the Inner City. It was told to me that, within 15 minutes, the enemy force controlled both the Inner City and the harbor facilities. The enemy host then began to tow ships out into the open sea. It did not matter whether they were full of cargo or empty. The naval force of the enemy included enough crews to man 240 ships. As the ships began to leave the sheltered harbor, the land forces of the enemy began to burn the Inner City with the city's inhabitants locked inside the buildings. The enemy land forces left the city by sea. They used some of the ships they stole and ships from the sea born attack. The raid lasted just over two hours. The enemy got away with 40 good carriers, 100 warships (mostly new specter class warships), and a few Mako-Shark class ships. The last member of the enemy to leave the city set off a greater device of power. This device caused an area of magical perversion."

The estimated dead from this raid is over two million. There is a national cry of vengeance coming from the entire Horde Union.

350th day of the year

It was reported that an unknown force attacked the Hindran port city of Jakarta yesterday. The attacking force consisted of sea borne, land borne, and magick borne troops. The surrounding cities of Meerut, Agra, and Raqnchi were also destroyed. Several hundred ships were taken. All of the museums and scholarly houses were ransacked. All the scrolls, books, and other forms of text were stolen. It is estimated that over 1 million of the Hindra population has been killed in the attack that lasted 16 hours. It is estimated that the attacking force numbered over 75,000 troops. The troops were Human, Elven, Haeflin, Dwarven, and Centaur.

The Haeflin City State of Kreeden on the continent of Bryagel reports that a massive fire began in the pre-dawn hours of this day. The fire engulfed several thousand acres across their border with the country of Bryagel. They reported this to Bryagel immediately upon discovery. The cause of the fire is unknown.

The government of the country of Kisda located on the continent of the Northern Shield reports that this will most likely be the last message carried by Gate Portal this year as the harsh winter weather and the northern winter interference will prevent accurate Gate Portal usage or even the ability to connect to other Gate Portals. Additionally, the fishing fleets of the Northern Shield have left harbor 9340th day of the year) to begin their travel to warmer waters. They will fish for Cod and Tuna. One out of four ships in the fleet is called a Salter, as it will salt the catch the rest of the fleet will catch.

The country of Moshven reports that the last shipments of chocolate for the year TK 1053 have started. The crop that Moshven controls was better than expected this year. The shipment heading towards Azin is taking a new route, an overland route through the Wasteland of Azin.

The Elven Government of the country of the Realm of Long Wood on the continent of Kenda reports that two Heart Trees have begun releasing seeds. This normally occurs earlier in the year. Usually when a Heart Tree releases a seed, it means that a new Heart Tree is needed. It has also occurred when a replacement is needed for another Heart Tree that is about to pass into history. It can also mean that an impending catastrophe is about to occur.

The government of the country of Traden on the continent of Mednadda reports that a fleet of merchantmen ships dropped anchor in the harbor city of Appolis. As the Harbormaster attempted to contact the fleet, the fleet weighed anchor and began to leave. The ships traveled at a better speed than they should have been able to.

Dr. Pratt of Draconic Splendor is proud to announce that, earlier on this day; his wife gave birth to twins. The twins are fraternal, one boy and one girl. The girl has been named Hailey Ellime' Pratt and the boy has been named William Rygel Edgar Pratt. After 38 hours of labor, the twins were born. The Duchess of Kent announced that both children are healthy and both parents are doing fine.

A report from the Azinian Naval base at the southern end of the Inland Sea of Cellenda states that the AWS Atlas was discovered anchored in harbor this morning. The AWS Atlas was sunk in severe weather on the Inland Sea of Cellenda 100 years ago. None of the guards of the harbor noticed the ship coming into the harbor.

The government of Azatar on the continent of Terla reports that the coastal seasonal rains have begun. The fertile coastline and interior farmlands of Azatar rely on these rains to fill their rivers and aqueducts for the year.

The Horde Union reports that one of their fleets encountered a strange convoy of ships in the Brea (Western Ocean) heading due North. The Horde fleet was unable to close the difference with this unknown fleet when fog began to roll in. The Horde Commander plotted the course of the unknown fleet backwards and it led to the Island Nation of Hindra.

An announcement arrives from the continent of Terla. Duchess Irene Desummers has agreed to host the hospitality station at the midway point for the Great Sand Race that is to start on the 400th day of the year.

A Haeflin Merchant named Robart ath 3rd Sphere of Haeflin Influence announced that on the 352nd day of the year, the spirit of Gildar came to him and shared his wisdom of the world of Alquennas.

In the country of Abyssinia, a collection of mages has started a new business venture. The Mages of Abyssinia, as their business is called, are constructing Ice of the Sea Drake containers to help preserve food and to create climate controlled areas in structures.

There is a report from the country of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia that states that miners have discovered a third cavern of giant crystals in the country. The government of Aphane has requested assistance from Scholars from all of the realms to document this third discovery.

The government of Creal on the continent of Kenda reports a sighting of 25 Reapers. The Reapers were sighted as they were traveling to the northern coast of Creal. They did not molest or damage any villages or people of Creal. When they reached the coast, the Reapers walked into a Teleportal and were gone. The scouts that had been assigned to monitor the Reapers did not have a User of Magick with them, so they were unable to tell what the Teleportal's destination was.

The Northern Shield reports that a winter storm has begun to engulf the entire continent of the Northern Shield. The winds are gusting up to 90 miles per hour.

The government of Bryagel reports that over 400,000 thousand acres of forest were destroyed in the fire that begun on the 350th day of the year. The fire burned itself out this morning. The cause is still unknown. Investigators discovered that there were and are magical components to the fire. The investigation is continuing.

The City State of Dawn reports that another Sand Blow occurred this morning. Since the discovery of the natural explosion, the area of the Sand Blow has been isolated and fenced in. No one was injured.

The Oracle of Terla sent a message to the High Kings of all of the realms. The contents of the message and the replies sent to her are not known.

The Port of Silk in the country of Moshven on the continent of Cellenda announces that they have completed another dry dock. There is an additional feature of this dry dock. The new dry dock has a roof that can be retracted during good weather and can cover the entire dry dock when the weather turns. It takes 10 minutes for the roof of the dry dock to be retracted or to be put in place. The action of the roof moving is powered by the currents in the bay of the Port of Silk.

The overland shipment from Moshven through the Wasteland of Azin has arrived in the province of Kent and is being escorted to the Azin capital city.

A report from Stone's Rising states that a few infant drakes took leave from their rook and enjoyed the winter countryside for several hours. The ringleader was the Drake known as Kelci. The Drakes came back to their nursery on their own, happy and tired.

The Island of the Three Sisters announced that the Bay of Nari' has begun to freeze. This event is early this year, by about 40 days. The Users of Magick in the area have been hired to help keep the bay open for the next 40 days.

The government of the Haeflin country of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel state that an unknown force attacked their harbor city of Cannar. The only building that was disturbed was the maritime museum. The entire museum was stolen including the stones of the building. The government of Frenton is investigating.

The Field Cross international Championship game was played in Kenda. This year�s contest was between the countries of Azin and Kenda. The score was tied at 1 to 1 at the end of the regulation time. There will be a second game in Azin on the 378th day of the year to see who the world champion is.

A Horde Sea Pack encountered 130 Rogue Class Ships in the Aira Ocean. The Rogue Class ships turned to attack the Horde ships according to Kenda fishermen who were nearby. The battle lasted over 18 hours. The Horde crews' ability to fight in the darkness allowed them to carry the day. All but two of the Rogue Class ships were sunk. The Horde lost over 100 ships in the battle.

The city of Luxor in the country of Terralen on the continent of Terla reports that it will be providing resting spas at the rest stations of the Great Sand Race. The spas will include bathhouses and cooling rooms.

The Master Printers of Azin, Kallon, and Kent have announced that the TK 1054 Wall Calendars are being printed and will be ready at the Winter Festivals of the country of Azin.

The government of the country of Ganit on the continent of the Southern Shield reports that the warm weather of their early summer has seen the beginning of the migration of the penguins to the retreating ice sheets near the coastlines. Additionally, the pods of Orcas have begun to arrive off the coastlines.

Robart ath 3rd Sphere of Haeflin Influence announced that he would be offering discounted prices on his gem and fabric merchandise until the end of the year.

The national Field Cross Teams from Azin and Kenda played in the national stadium in Azin. At the end of regulation, the score was 2 to 1 in favor of the Azin national team. The Azin national team won the world field cross international championship.

The country of Bryagel on the continent of Bryagel reports that their ship fields will be closing down for the winter. As this report was being written, the first heavy snows began to blanket the northern ship fields of the country.

The city of Freeport located in the country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports that they have completed the new outer suburb of housing. This will allow another 20,000 inhabitants to live in the city. The city of Freeport would like to thank the Dwarves of their neighboring country of Xendana for their assistance in making this new section of the city possible.

The Dwarven government of Gemsten on the continent of Fyngel reports that the vein of Green Flake Obsidian that was discovered last year has led to the discovery of Red Flake Obsidian and Blue Flake Obsidian veins.

The government of the country of Talis on the continent of Vitainnia reports that workers have begun to rebuild the city of Farefall. The war of Talis has been over for years, but the rebuilding will continue for generations. The city of Farefall was and will be again an important trade destination for many goods and services. It is the guardian of the roads in the Talis Imperia (The Capital prefecture).

The morning is bitterly cold in the country of Azin. Winter has its full grasp on the country. There is a foot and a half of snow on the ground at the Keep of Kent. The temperature is 28 degrees. The wind is gentle and snow is falling.

381st day of the year

The morning of the 381st day of TK 1053 was just cold enough to begin snowing in and around the capital city of Azin. In 12 hours, the area received 20 inches of snow. The winds were only at 5 mph, which kept the storm over the city and surrounding areas.

A Report from the Southern Shield states that a meteor shower occurred in the early morning pre-dawn. Over 5,000 meteors were sighted in this one night event. This event was not forecasted.

The Council of Dukes in the country of Kenda reports that their final harvest was a bumper harvest. The final harvests for Kenda are frozen grapes to make frost wine.

The Grand Sultan of Azatar announces that his government will be paying the Gate Portal charges for the teams of the Great Sand Race to get to the starting city.

The port of Arch Angel in the country of Azin reports that the outer harbor has begun to freeze. The inner harbor is still unencumbered with ice.

Turmoil in the country of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia threatens to tear the country asunder. There is an accusation of Line Thief in the family of one of the Council of Rule members. The Council of Rule has been in closed sessions since the accusations surfaced three days ago.

The 3rd Sphere of Haeflin Influence reported that Haeflin Duke Rogant Manh was the target of an assassination attempt this morning. He was traveling in Azatar as the representative for the 3rd Sphere of Haeflin Influence at the Great Sand Race. He is unharmed the guards of the Grand Sultan of Azatar foiled the attempted. They killed the Human that attempted to assassinate the Haeflin Duke

A dead sea lion (Leo de Maris) washed up on the shores of Talis. There is a large sea lion population in the seas around Talis, but what makes this incident different is that the sea lion was frozen solid. The local government is investigating.

The government of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports that their city of Freeport was attacked by seaborne and magickborne troops. The government of Carwin reports that over 6,000 citizens of Freeport were killed and over 11,000 were injured. It is not known what the attackers wanted. The dock facilities at the port of Freeport were destroyed and fired.

The city of Dawn reports that a sand blow south of the city interrupted a severe snowstorm. After the momentary explosion from the sand blow, the storm stopped for over 10 minutes.

The Minister of Magick and Magery of the country of Aphane has ordered the Guild Houses of Mages in the capital city to be closed. Additionally, Minister Gundan has ordered the Aphane Battle Mages to their training halls.

The government of the city-state of Kreeden on the continent of Bryagel reports that they have translated thirty more texts from the Temple of the Blood King. One of the documents is a listing of ingredients. What the ingredients produce is not known.

The Academy of Scholars and Naturalists meeting in Kenda have agreed to standardize the naming of creatures and plants. All creatures and plants will be given a name in the ancient Kingdom language as well as what they are known locally.

The Horde Union announced that it would field 24 vessels in the Great Sand Race. They will have six vessels in each category.

The turmoil in the country of Aphane continues. A report from the Embassy of the country of Kenda located in Aphane's capital city states that an assassination attempt on the leader of the council of Rule was foiled by several onlookers today as the Council of Rule was about to meet once again in closed sessions.

386th day of the year

A report from the Embassy of the country of Kenda located in Aphane's capital city of Thabes states that Minister of War has ordered all of the units of the Aphane military to stand down and return to their barracks. Minister Cronnan provided a statement to all of the Embassies in the city that stated he would not see the honorable soldiers of Aphane that defended the country against the scourge of the Horde to be used as a pawn to grab power for one of the "noble" families of Aphane.

The Minister of Roadways and Waterways for the country of Azin, Philip Darcy announced that a new law has been signed by High King Rene' Nari' that states that on the roads of Azin and her settlements people will travel on the right side of the road. This law is to assist in reducing delays on the roads especially near the urban centers of the country. This does not affect the waterways of Azin or her settlements. The military forces of Azin that patrol the roadways will be enforcing this new law as of the first of TK 1054.

The government of Kenda reports that the Blue Dragon Division encountered a score of Reapers. The Reapers were traveling on the plains of Kenda. The Reapers were tracked for over four hours to study their behavior. At dusk, the Blue Dragon Division attacked. The Reapers were destroyed. The casualties were high. The Blue Dragon Division lost 400 soldiers.

The Realm of Sea Fair on the continent of Terla announced that they have completed building an experimental ship. They have taken two Mammoth class ships and made them into a catamaran. This is the third time this type of experiment has been attempted. The ship engineers have the Realm of Sea Fair stated that they have learned from the previous attempts and attempts from other countries and believe they have resolved all of the issues.

The government of Currerria on the continent of Vitainnia reports that refugees from Aphane are flooding their border with Aphane. The government of Currerria has constructed refugee camps to help the refugees with food, shelter, and medical needs. The refugee camps will also attempt to find the refugees homes within Currerria. They estimate over 90,000 refugees have crossed the border so far.

The township of Carttan in the country of Kenda reports that there has been an incident in a local tavern. Several travelers that did not know the difference between a tavern and an inn started a fight when they were not served right away. The travelers were helped out of the tavern and pointed towards the local inn.

A report from the troubled country of Aphane, states that a mass exodus has begun from the capital city. Most of the staffs of the Embassies have begun to Gate Portal out of the country back to their home countries. The once bustling open market is now deathly quiet. The staff of the Embassy of Kenda has prepared to leave but is staying. The Council of Rule has offered to any foreigners that they can be the guests of the Council of Rule until the crisis is over.

The Harbor Master of the Port of Spice in the country of Moshven on the continent of Cellenda reports that, in the morning fog and mist, two ships collided. A Horde Union Warship Rag-Nak (the Sea's Revenge) and a Moshven fishing vessel (the Awkward Tadpole) were the two ships involved.

389th day of the year

The Guild of Skilled Games and Gambling has opened the pools for the Great Sand Race. They are currently giving even odds for all the teams. The exceptions are the teams from the continent of Terla. They have been given 2 to 1 odds in favor of completing the race.

A report from the Embassy of Kenda in the country of Aphane states that this report is being sent from a city south of the Capital, as the Gate Portal in the capital city has been disabled. There is mass rioting in the city. The hired personal guards of at least a dozen powerful families are attempting to take control of the Capital and the Council of Rule.

A letter from Duke William Aday to High King Rene' Nari' states that Alliance and Horde forces attacked the Dark Forces stronghold on the southern shore of Lake Dawnard. The combined forces eliminated all resistance and then began to demolish the stronghold. The combined forces were able to get back to friendly lines before the Dark could send reinforcements to the stronghold.

390th day of the year

The teams for the Great Sand Race are beginning to arrive in the country of Azatar. Due to some of the sizes of the sand rails, the rails are being transported in pieces and put together in Azatar.

The Council of Dukes of Kenda dispatched heralds to the country of Azin and to the Horde Union. The message that the Heralds carried is unknown. The Horde Union and the country of Azin replied within moments of receiving the heralds. The replies are also unknown.

Reports from the Fishing ship Mardenark, a Talis registered vessel, states that their crew bore witness to a battle between a giant squid and a great whale. The great whale breeched the surface with the giant squid in its mouth. They estimated that the great whale was over 80 feet and the giant squid was over 60 feet in length. The crew watched as the great whale breeched the surface over a half dozen times. Each time it breeched, the whale's entire body was out of the water.

391st day of the year

The country of the Realm of Sea Fair reports that 37 Reapers attacked one of their eastern outposts. The Reapers inflicted over 600 casualties. Most of the casualties were civilians. Once the Reapers were finished with the attack, they began to travel east towards the Ariddia.

The High King of Azin Rene' Nari' sends heralds to his vassals. The message they carry concerns the upcoming winter Festival of Azin. The Azin Winter Festival is being held in the provincial capital of Kallon this year.

The Alquennas Trade Association reports that a squadron of Rogue Class ships attacked one of its convoys heading towards the country of Aphane. The Rogue ships, except for a single ship, took the entire convoy. This one ship managed to rescue the sailors from the other ships in the convoy as they were thrown overboard by the attackers.

An announcement from the Horde Union states that they have just completed the Phantom Class ship, the Conqueror of the Seas. They will begin sea trials after the first of TK 1054. The Phantom Class is different from traditional types of warships. It is sleek below the waterline and wider above the water line. The vessel is over 160 feet in length and has a beam of 60 feet.

Reports from the Island of Trista, south of the continent of Kenda, states that a dozen Rogue class ships attempted to gain access to their harbor at the capital city of Clamor. The Trista military denied them access to the harbor. The military of Trista had constructed a great chain that they laid across the harbor entrance just below the waterline.

The government of Vivandar on the continent of Mednadda announced that they are sponsoring three teams in the Great Sand Race. Their largest vessel left for Terla over two months ago and has arrived safely. The other two vessels have been transported via Gate Portal this very day with their crews.

The port city of Arch Angel in the country of Azin reports that the inner harbor is now frozen. Winter has set in the northern hemisphere.

It is reported that regiments from the Kenda Blue Dragon and Black Dragon divisions have made landfall south of Aphane's capital city. The 4,500 plus troops are setting up a defensive area around the location of the Kendan Ambassador to Aphane and his staff.

A Report from the country of Creal on the continent of Kenda states that a pack of Lycanthropes was sighted outside the capital city of Cedarvale. The Elven guard began to hunt the Wereboars.

394th day of the year

The Alquennas Trade Association is outrage at Kenda's actions in the country of Aphane. Sending troops to another sovereign country without being asked is an act of war and Kenda needs to be punished. The Alquennas Trade Association is meeting to determine the types of sanctions it will be imposing on Kenda.

A Horde Union Grand Pack arrives off the coast of Aphane to ensure the safety of sea and ocean craft during this crisis. The Grand Pack has three Gate Portal Ships within its fleet's protection.

The High Queen of Azin Gwenhyfar Isabel Stewart Nari' announced that she would receive the ladies of Azin on the 112th day of TK 1054 at the spring social event at the Keep of Azin. This is the first time in almost 60 years that the receiving of the ladies of the country at court is being held. This is another sign that the War with the Horde is truly over.

395th day of the year

The Council of Dukes of the country of Kenda replies to the Alquennas Trade Associations statement on the 395th day of the year. "The honorable people of Kenda will never leave any of its citizens in harm's way. We, the people of Kenda, do not believe that people are only products to be used, sold, and bought. The military forces of Kenda in Aphane are ensuring the safety of the Kendan citizens that are in Aphane."

Preparations for the Azin Winter Festival of Azin have begun. This year the Winter Festival is being held in the city of Kallon. One of the spectacles being held at this year's Festival is the Grand Joust Tournament in honor of the High Queen of Azin. Once again, as per the High Queen's wishes, the High King will not be participating in the actual jousting. In fact, except for the First Knight of Azin, no Constables of Azin will be taking active part in the Joust, either. Her Majesty's comment was that Azin could ill afford to lose such honorable people of importance due to injury in a joust. The First Knight's response was that, since her primary job is to be the High King's sword and Champion, she would take part in the jousting. It is not known at this time if her Majesty has designated a specific Champion that will take part.

The dawn of the 395th day of TK 1053 brings cold bitter winds to the country of Azin. It is blanketed with snow from seven inches to seven feet.

Royal Heralds from the Horde Union travel to all of the capital cities of all of the realms. The message they carry is sent with a heavy heart. On the evening of the 394th day of the year, the Crown Prince of the Horde Union was killed in a naval battle in the Sea of Kenda by pirates. The pirates' ships were flying the ensign of Pirate Admiral Sharpe Sword. The next member of the Horde Royal family in line for the crown is Aum-Rok Larana Ath Horde.

The City State of Kreeden on the continent of Bryagel reported that a waterspout appeared over its harbor, cutting though the frozen water of the winter bound harbor.

A report from Kenda states that the Green Dragon Division encountered three Minotaurs while they were marching back to their barracks. The creatures attacked the Green Dragon Division and lost.

396th day of the year

The High Chieftain of the Horde Union announced that a new policy concerning pirates and privateers. The Horde Union is dispatching its fleets to hunt down pirates and their bases.

The City State of Koalh on the continent of Cellenda is proud to announce that the Language Trader class of TK 1053 has graduated. There are 34 members of this year's graduating class.

The city of Freeport in the country of Carwin on the continent of Xendarna reports that another profound discovery has been made in the Temple of the Blood King. Three additional levels beneath the Temple have been discovered. The lower levels are wider and longer then the surface levels or previously discovered sub levels. They now count a total of 9 underground levels in the Temple of the Blood King. They are looking to employ cartographers to do a detailed map of the entire Temple of the Blood King.

398th day of the year

Forces of the Horde Union, under the command of the Horde Chieftain Dur-Rok and forces of the Alliance of Nations under the command of Sir Ira ath Kent attacked the pirate base of the self-proclaimed Pirate Admiral Sharpe Sword. The Admiral and three ships escaped. The rest of his fleet and shore garrison were not so lucky. Over 2,000 prisoners were taken and enough stolen merchandise to pay for the expedition against the pirate base was recovered.

The Haeflin country of Frenton on the continent of Fyngel reports that they have completed translating 100 additional texts from the Temple of the Blood King. Most of the 100 texts are accounting information for managing several large estates, recipes, and materials lists for building projects.

The government of Traden on the continent of Mednadda announced that it would host the conference of the Trista Confederation on the 3rd day of TK 1054. This conference is being called to hammer out issues within the Trista Confederation and to set consistent policies for its members.

399th day of the year

The Lady Ara of Azatar hosts the pre-race Ball of the Great Sand Race. There are over 6,000 guests. Lady Ara had her engineers connect several scores of pavilion tents together in order to protect her guests from the elements of the desert. Her engineers dug down 10 feet into the sand, built stairs and ramps, and installed fans in vents on top of the tents to reduce the temperatures in the pavilion tents. The entire assemblage was dressed in their finest and the sight was reported by various attendees as truly splendid to see.

The Realm of Long Wood on the continent of Kenda reports that they have discovered a vein of Dwarven silver in a river valley. The Elven government has contacted the Dwarves of the Forked Mountains (Azin) for assistance on how to harvest the Dwarven silver properly.

The Kendan ship, Arch Faith, encountered two Rogue Class ships in the Sea of Kenda. The two Rogue Class Ships attacked the Arch Faith. The Arch Faith was able to destroy one of the Rogue Class ships and to fend off the other. Their weapon of choice was the Ballista Anchor.

400th day of the year

It is announced that the Horde Crown Princess Aum-Rok Larana Ath Horde is engaged to the Haeflin Master Entertainer Bartholo.

The Great Sand Race from Azatar to Terralen begins with great fanfare. Over 1,000 sand rails are competing in this, the first Great Sand Race.

A report from Patronna from Duke William Aday states that the Dark Forces have employed new flying warriors in their latest offensive. These dark creatures must be a form of Lych Creation. One must destroy most of the body to stop these dark killing machines. Losses to these Dark Flying Creatures have been high. The Dark Flyers have also begun to attack the supply ships and the Gate Portal ships that are anchored off the coast of Patronna.

401st day of the year

The Duchess of Kent sent a Noble Herald to her vassal New Edo No Gonji Akira. The message is not known, however the urgency in the herald's movement was apparent to all that saw her traveling.

The Island of Kayla, which is north of the continent of Cimmeran, reports that a score of Reapers landed on their southern shore early this morning. The local garrison of Horde Union troops engaged the Reapers in combat. The Reapers were driven back into the ocean by the Horde garrison. The Horde troop's casualties were light at 4 dead and 30 wounded.

The Dwarven government of the country of Gemsten reports that 63 Hydra nest were found along two major rivers of the country. The nests were full of eggs. The Dwarven government of Gemsten is currently investigating this infestation of Hydra nests.

402nd day of the year

The town crier of Arketton reacted in the following manner: "It was a Grand Sight that one may only see once in their lifetime." The sight he was referring to was the arrival at the public Gate Portal outside of the city of Arketton of the first and second Lyse En Belysning, or translated into Kingdom "Bright One's Lightning". These are two of the Sky Cat Lancer Columns that New Edo No Gonji Akira has been training for the past few years.

In Kingdom, the commander of the Lyse En Belysning force announced, as he and his mount began walking through the Gate Portal, "The Sky is the Realm of the Light. We will ensure the Darkness will never get a foothold in that realm." The Lyse En Belysning traveled to one of the Gate Portal ships off the coast of Patronna.

Once they left, the Duchess of Kent sent a herald to High King Rene' Nari' of Azin to inform him of what she had done.

The country of Creal on the Kenda continent reports that the royal family is expecting another child. This will be their third child.

A report comes from Patronna describing heavy fighting occurring on the ground, at sea, and in the air.

The country of Sharinnon on the continent of Kenda reports severe winter storms have caused flooding on all coastal areas of the country.

The isolationist country of Vivandar on the continent of Mednadda sent a message to High King Rene' Nari' and the Horde High Chieftain.

A Report from Sir William Aday of Patronna to High King Rene' Nari' states:

My Sovereign Lord:
It is my delightful honor to inform you the threat from the Dark Flyers has been dealt with. The Lyse En Belysning forces that the Duchess of Kent sent have not only defeated them in the skies over Patronna, they discovered the location of their nests. This morning I led a Horde and Azin force of six thousand soldiers and Lyse En Belysning and we destroyed their ability to create any additional Dark Flyers.

Additionally, the Horde Union deployed two claws of Ghosts Legions to disrupt the Dark Forces' lines of communications and supplies.

The day did not end well for the Dark Forces.

The government of Katonnan located on the northern shore of the continent of Mednadda reports that 25 ships washed ashore on their eastern coast. The ships were merchantmen type ships and were filled with wines and other goods. There were no crews on board, makers' marks, or any sign of where the ships came from or who sailed or owned the ships.

The country of Kavendar reports that bandits attacked the spice convoy from the Realm of Azul-Valley. The bandits took half of the cargo and left many of the convoy members injured.

405th day of the year

A report from the Great Sand Race of Terla states that more than 75% of the remaining racers have made it to the midway point of the race and are now enjoying the hospitality suite from Draconic Splendor.

A report from Gelca, a Sea Lord of the Mere Folk, reports that three ships of the long missing Fleet of Azin have been found 1,200 feet down in the Southern Sea.

A report from the Elven country of Grand Oak on the continent of Mednadda states that an ice tornado appeared outside one of their woods (villages) and tore through 25 acres of forests. The storm leveled every tree and bush within its area of effect. Fortunately, no one was reported injured. The elders of Grand Oak do not recall an Ice tornado occurring in Grand Oak within living memory.

406th day of the year

A report from Duchess Irene De Summers states that most of the Sand Rails have made it to her rest stop. The race is now in its final days.

The Vice Grand Admiral of the Fleets of Azin sent a herald to meet with Gelca the Sea Lord.

The Realm of Sea Fair reports that two of their fishing fleets encountered swarms of jellyfish, with some the size of eight feet in diameter and weighing over 800 lb. As the fishing fleets attempted to remove the jellyfish from their nets, they witnessed numerous types of sharks begin to hunt and eat the jellyfish. Some of the sharks were Great Whites with one measuring over 22 feet in length. The Sea Fair fishing fleets watched in awe as the sharks fed cooperatively. The reports from the Sea Fair Fishing fleets have been sent to the naturalists and scholars of the Realm of Sea Fair.

408th day of the year

A report from the Duchess of Abyssinia states the first racers have made it to her staging area of the Great Sand Race. The outcome of the race should be decided by upon the morrow.

The Dwarven and Human government of Tel' Narra discovered an ancient Human village that dates back to the Second War with the Horde. The village is intact and does not appear to have been touched in several thousand years. The scholars and naturalists of Tel' Narra are investigating this find.

The country of Alima on the Southern Shield reports that with mid summers (southern hemisphere) almost upon them, the celebrations have already begun.

409th day of the year

The first sand rail to cross the finish of the Great Sand Race is the Sand Lance from the Province of Kent of the country of Azin.

The Dwarven country of Xendana on the continent of Xendarna reports that their defense force encountered three Reapers in the central plains of the country. The Reapers were defeated by using the Pratt Fall maneuver.

A report from the Island of Three Sisters (east of the continent of Cellenda) states that the Bay of Nari' has frozen over. It is the first time in years that this has happened. This has halted the production of ships in the ship fields of the Bay of Nari'; however, it has not halted the production of ships in their three dry docks. The Minister of Roadways and Waterways of Azin, Philip Darcey, will be allocating additional funds to the ship fields of the Bay of Nari' to increase the number of dry docks. Please note dry docks are an expensive investment. They cost as much as a fully constructed castle to build and operate.

In the end, out of the 1,000 teams, only 250 teams completed the race. Most of the ships that broke down had to be rescued.

The country of Iceda of the Northern Shield reports that the Ice Bridge between Iceda and Kisda is over 14 feet thick at this time. Trade between the two countries continues during the winter months via the use of the ice bridge that forms between the two countries.

The ship fields of Bryagel report that a raft (group) of Steller Sea Lions have taken up residents in one of the large steam long houses used to bend wood for ship building. Since the ship fields are closed for the winter season, the long houses are empty, or used to be empty. The government of Bryagel is investigating their options.

414th day of the year

A paper written by Alchemist and inventor Artimus Goddard Davis of Kallon details his idea to increase production of manufactured goods. These goods would include items ranging from apple carts to yeoman's houses. Artimus Goddard Davis of Kallon has convinced the Duke of Kallon to let him attempt his idea in spring with one of the cooper houses.

On an unrelated note, the Gambling Guild of Kallon has extended its business hours for the rest of year.

A report from Duke William Aday of Patronna states that troops from the country of Vivandar have joined the cause against the Dark Forces. The Vivandar forces number over 4,000 soldiers. The commander of the Vivandar force provided Duke William Aday with a copy of the letter their leaders sent to the Horde and Azin High King. The one phrase that caught William Aday's eyes was "Being people of good conscience, we could no longer stand by and allow men of good character to stand alone against the Dark."

The Alquennas Trade Association (ATA) has announced that it will be increasing its handling fee on shipped goods to 4% of the gross total of the cargos' worth starting the 1st day of TK 1054. Additionally, they will be increasing the fines levied against those who do not use the ATA and its services for shipping goods between countries.

417th day of the year

Preparations in the northern hemisphere for an extended Winter Festival are almost complete. The excitement of the inhabitants can be felt upon the air.

The port city of Jaffa-Kar in the Aden-Keegan region of the Horde Union continent of Cimmeran reports that a land quake occurred one half mile from the city in the ocean. The land quake caused a wave of six feet to wash over the port facilities of Jaffa-Kar. Casualties and damage were light.

The government of Lesser Fyngel on the continent of Fyngel reported that a hunting band of Forest Trolls were engaged by the Lesser Fyngel defense forces early on the 416th day of the year. The 20 members of the Forest Troll hunting party were taken by surprise by the Elven forces. The Trolls are under an enchanted sleep until the government of Lesser Fyngel decides what to do with them.

The government of Gregoria on the continent of Mednadda announced that the preparations for the Mage Games are complete. The Games will begin on the 7th day of TK 1054. This year the Judges will include the Duchess of Kent and the Arch Magus of Azin. Once again, there will be the Hospitality Suite from Draconic Splendor. This year, it will be taking over three full inns. There are currently over 2,000 Users of Magick registered to compete in the Mage Games.

The government of Aphane on the continent of Vitainnia has begun rebuilding the ancient roads of the Empire of Vitainnia. These roads will allow the increase of goods to be transported from town to town and allow the military of Aphane to move quicker though the country in cases of emergencies.

TK 1053 travels to the past as a dream one cannot entirely remember as the light of dawn awakes the world. TK 1054 is full of hope, prosperity, and adventure, if one dares.
