Ice Berry Plant - The Ice Berry Plant (magical element Water rated at MR 4) can grow to heights of 6 feet. The width of the plant is 4 times its height and the plant sprawls out in every direction. At the beginning of the growing season, small greenish-black spherical berries begin to grow. These young berries are considered a delicacy in many cultures. This is due to their high sugar content. Sweet syrup is usually made from the immature ice berries.

It is when the berries mature, that they take on their characteristics that gave them their names. The mature Ice berries are black as jet and are the size of a walnut, when one bites into a mature ice berry, the temperate in ones mouth decreases by 5 degrees C. The Ice Berry Plant is rated at 5 NU per pound

The Ice Berry plants can be found on the continents of Kenda, Cellenda, Vitainnia Mednadda and Xendarna. There is a 75% chance they can be found wild and a 90% chance they can be found in a shop.

Since the Ice Berry Plant is considered a delicacy, the demand for them is high especially as the growing season ends. The Ice Berries fetch 10 P per pound on the continents they are found on and 60 P per pound on other continents during the growing season.

There are entire plantations on Cellenda, Mednadda, and Xendarna devoted to growing Ice Berries.

Ice Boats - Ice Boats, Ice Sail Boats, or Icers as they are known, range from small boats to large ships that have iron or steel skates on them allowing them to travel on frozen lakes and ice terrains. They are used during the winter in many harbors to transport people, goods, and news.

Ice Dragon - An Ice Dragon or Ice Drake is a term used to define either an older Water Dragon or Water Dragon that has undergone a transformation in their nature. Ice Dragons are more powerful than Water Dragons.

Ice Faire - An Ice Faire is a Haeflin-inspired holiday; it occurs when a harbor or lake first freezes completely over & solid for the winter. Ice Skaters, Ice sail boats, and onlookers will gather to enjoy the first signs of winter. There will be bonfires on the shore and a great many winter special treats being made, offered, and eaten. The customs of Ice Faires have spread to Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Centaur cultures. The Alquennas Trade Association has embraced these holidays as a way and method to increase trade.

Ice Forest of the Southern Shield - The Ice Forest of the Southern Shield is a unique formation of jagged cone-shaped ice columns that are comprised of the Ice of a Sea Drake. It is not known who created these structures or why.

Ice of the Sea Drake - Ice of the Sea Drake is a magical substance that is naturally created by Sea and Ice Drakes. Users of Magick can also create it. Once created, the temperature of the Ice of the Sea Drake can be raised or lowered. Unlike natural ice, Ice of the Sea Drake will remain solid. As an example, you can have a piece of Ice of the Sea Drake whose temperature has been raised to 212 degrees F or 100 Degrees C and it will still be solid. When created, Ice of the Sea Drake is at 32 degrees F or 0 degrees C. It is a deep blue in color. It is magically rated at MR 0 and is worth 480 P per ounce.

Ice of the Undine - Ice of the Undine is a magical substance that is naturally created by magical water creatures that include Sea and Ice Drakes and Undine. It is not as powerful as Ice of the Sea Drake but is very useful in magick. It is a lighter shade of blue than that of Ice of the Sea Drake, is magically rated at MR 0, and is worth 230 P per ounce. Ice of the Undine is more stable than natural ice, as it will keep its shape until its temperature is raised to up to twice the natural melting point. After that, however, it will melt.

Ice Spiders - Ice spiders are found on the Northern and Southern Shields. Throughout the centuries, they have been exported to tundra regions throughout the realms of Alquennas. Ice spiders themselves are a magically created creature that by accident were able to survive, breed, and adapt over the many centuries since they were created. The notes of the Ogre Magus that created them state that he made a mistake. However, he did not realize his mistake in the great transmutation when creating the Ice Spiders. The normal Ice Spider is the size of a wolf spider. There are known encounters with giant and huge ice spiders.

Indigo Bunting - An Indigo Bunting is a type of songbird that is found in the countries of Azin and Moshven. It is brilliantly colored with indigo wings and back with a white belly. They feed off berries, seeds, and small insects. They measure up to six inches with a wingspan of up to eight inches.

Inquisition, General - Inquisition, General or General Inquisition is a term used for a judicial inquiry usually with regards of supervising or issues with a forest. This includes looking into the non-sanctioned death of a deer or burning of a case or section of the forest or non-sanctioned harvesting of wood from a forest.

Insidiis Petra Lacerta (Magical Element, Fire and Earth, rated MR 5) - Insidiis Petra Lacerta or Ambushing Rock Lizard or Ambushing Lizard as it is known, looks like a snake but is actually a lizard with eyelids and ears. An adult, it can reach a length of a minimum of 11 feet. Some examples have been found to be over 25 feet long and 2 feet in diameter. The Ambushing Lizard can be found in arid regions in hilly to mountainous terrain under 8,000 feet in elevation. This legless lizard will create a cocoon that will look like a rock. It will hide in this self-made nest with its body coiled like a spring until prey approaches. It will then shoot out from the cocoon and strike the prey. First, it will wrap its body around the prey. Then it will use its sharp teeth to kill the prey by biting the neck of the prey and releasing its venom into its victim. The venom does 6 points of FP damage per round for up to 1D10 rounds after the Ambushing Lizard has stopped injecting the venom. The venom can be milked from the Ambushing Rock Lizard and is worth 5 P per dose. The meat of the Rock Lizard is poisonous to most intelligent races. For those that can eat the meat, it has a nutritional value of 3 NU per pound. It takes the Ambushing Rock Lizard 5 minutes per three feet of its length to construct its ambush/hiding cocoon. Once a Lizard has escaped from its cocoon, it repairs the damage to the cocoon and reuses it.

International Banking System - The Alquennas Trade Association created the Bank of Alquennas in TK 850 to make the exchange of credit easier for merchants and ship owners. With the introduction of the worldwide currency in TK 05, the task of creating the World Bank of Alquennas was a simple matter of organization. The Bank of Alquennas works with all of the city and national banks. They are a reporting and regulatory agency for the extension and collection of credit.

The Bank of Alquennas provides a central hub for communications between different banks of the world or even a country. An example if a person presents a draft to a bank in Kent from the Kallon Bank, the information is sent to the Alquennas bank, which has its office in the Bank of Kent. It then sends the information to the regional Bank of Alquennas office that then routes it to the Bank of Kallon. The Bank of Kallon will verify the data and send the response back. This usually takes one to two days. There is a credit extension to the person of up to two Crowns. The Bank of Alquennas guarantees the credit extension. The source of the credit extension is from the fees the Bank of Alquennas charges for their services.

The Bank of Alquennas also enforces the rates in which the banks of the world can charge interest on loans and pay interest on accounts they hold. In TK 1040, the loan interest rate was set at 10% as the account savings interest rate was set at 5%.

International Guild of Scholars - International Guild of Scholars is comprised of all scholars throughout Alquennas that are members of the Scholars Guild. They regulate tuitions and judge the different learning establishments of Alquennas. During hostilities during the Fourth War with the Horde, the International Guild of Scholars dispended as most of their members were in active service to their country's military.

The Bishop of Iron Barony - The first Bishop in Iron Barony was a warrior-priest that protected the Iron Barony from Dark Forces. By Holy Decree, all bishops of Irony Barony must be warrior-priests or knightly-priests. The Bishop of Iron Barony has a specific set of arms.

Iron Oak (Magical Element, Fire and Earth, rated MR 4) - Iron Oak is found in the great forests of the Northern Hemisphere and the Iron Oak is a variant of the Oak tree. During summer, its leaves will have yellow veins going through them. The wood of the Iron Oak can inflict 6 C points of damage upon its target. Magically, it is useful in wards and earth spells. Ship builders seek out this tree for masts, sponsons, outriggers, and spars.

The Iron Oak of Azin - The Iron Oak is the smallest Elven Wood in Azin. It borders the Wasteland and, unlike the other Woods in Azin, is considered a vassal client of the Duchess of Kent. This is because of an incident in years past where the family that previously ruled it committed grave crimes against the Crown and against the world.

Isle of Trista - The Isle of Trista is located south of the continent of Kenda. The isle was part of the Kingdom of Kenda until the end of the Fourth War with the Horde. The Isle of Trista has become a major power starting in TK 1047. Trista took control of the Talis Alliance and renamed it the Confederation of Trista. The population of Trista is almost completely human. They do allow other races to assist them as servants. The Isle of Trista is divided up into five Prefectures. The Prefectures are:

The North East Prefecture
The Western Prefecture
The Hubban Prefecture
The Plains Prefecture

The country is ruled by Committee of Rule. The Committee of Rule is comprised of the leaders of each Prefecture and is lead by a military governor.

Island of Storms - The Island of Storms is located in the center of the Sea of Kenda. Legends believe that hurricanes are born on the island of storms or in one of the natural harbors of the Island of Storms. The Island of Storms has been used over the centuries by military forces as a staging area to assault the continent of Kenda or the Isle of Trista. Currently the country of Kenda operates and staffs a fortress and naval yard on the Island of Storms.
