What is the Living World?

The living world is a heroic Chivalry & Sorcery™ Campaign setting, staged in the world of Alquennas™. Players have the choice of being from several different countries and races using the Chivalry & Sorcery™ Heroic 150 point method or random roll method.  The players of the living world are ranked by earned experience points over the course of one year. Even if the player changes characters throughout the year, the ranking is on the total earned experience that is awarded to the player.  At the end of the year, the winner of each division will be announced and awarded prizes.

The Three Divisions Are:

  • Master’s Division
    		•  - Players who have played Chivalry & Sorcery for over 5 years
  • Specialists Division
    		•  - Players who have played Chivalry & Sorcery from 3-5 years
  • Standard Division
    		•  - Player who have played Chivalry & Sorcery from 0 to 3 years

    Please note: a players gaming experience with other systems may prompt a player to a higher division. In addition, there will be a winner from each of the above listed categories for best player of the year, which will be chosen by the Game Masters of the Living World. These players will be awarded prizes.

    How Do I Become A Player In The Living World?

    Attend any official Living World event, register, and play. The only information that is required to enter the living world is:

    1. Your real name
    2. A name that will be used on the MSD website
    3. A way to contact you (e-mail, Snail mail, etc.)

    Are There Any Fees?

    There are no fees to join the living world.

    Where And When Are The Adventures and Campaigns Held?

    The campaigns of the living world are run at conventions and game stores throughout the United States. Mystic Station Designs, LLC will be adding additional games through out the year so please check back for updated schedules.

    What Happens If I Win The Living World Tournament?

    At the end of the year winners (one per division) are announced and will be awarded prizes. This is the reason we request a method to contact you when you sign up for a game.

    How Do I Become A Living World Game Master?

    Contact the Senior Events Coordinator for Mystic Station Design, LLC at tracker@mysticstation.com and put in the subject 'Living World Game Master.'

    What Do I Get If I Become A Living World Game Master?

    Every official certified event that you Game Master you will receive points. These points will go towards the purchase product that Mystic Station Designs, Distributes and produces.

    How do I create a Living World Character?

    On the Mystic Station Design, LLC Website, www.mysticstation.com and here on the Alquennas Website, there is a document entitled “Creating a Living World Character” It is a free download and will provide the information that is needed to construct a living world character.

    If you do not want to create a living world character, the Game Masters running the event will have pre-generated character(s) with her/him for players to choose to use in the campaign. Once the campaign has ended, you get to keep the character.
